Masterspark`s Introduction
#1
First and foremost: Tell us about yourself, as a player.:
Well... Uuuhh..

I'm just and aspiring historian who likes, Grand Strategy, marches and trance music.. Nothing more to say on that matter, I'd say..

What country do you come from? What is your primary language?
I am from northern Scandinavia, but when it comes to writing, english is my preferred language.

How did you get into Warcraft?:
The third RTS can be found in my memories dating back to 2003, and as such I am not very certain at all how I got my hands on it. The MMO, however, is a completely different case. The year was 2005, early spring. One of my friends kept squabbling on and on about elves shooting undead and ents doing.. stuff.
And I said that, "That's warcraft ye're talkin' 'bout..", and he's all "No way, dude! This is waaay different. Waaaaaay."
And a few weeks later I spotted an advertisement on battle.net that was NOT about some internet service.
There before my eyes was a link to "World of Warcraft". My first reaction was "What is this crap..?" and my second reaction [upon having seen the, at the time, awe inspiring trailer] was "Holy shit! IWANTIWANTIWANT!!1". Just a couple of days later I had pestered my mother enough to buy it for me.
The adventure could commence. After having played around for a while, I "migrated" from the server "Daggerspine" and onto "Earthen Ring", not because of the green flashing letters "R" and "P" to the right, but simply because of the kickass name. This, of course, ended in [from my perspective] hilarity and [from everyone else's perspectives] catastrophe. When I got bored with ruining the roleplay of others, I decided to join in. Once more; hilarity and catastrophe. It took me months of futile tries until I had developed my english to the level where I could actually understand what people were saying beyond "Hello" and "Die!". At that point, everything went downhill.. In a good way, that is.. Meaning that it got easier and easier to conduct this new art of "RPing".
In the end I was no longer trying to be a nuisance and partly due to actually knowing english at that point, I really had a lot of fun. Up until my final months on the retail servers, I never had a character level above 36. Even so, I had uncovered the entire world, except for most dungeons and some parts of outland, and been a member of quite a few guilds.
But suddenly, SHOCK! I couldn't afford to pay the bill, and my parents refused to help out.
"Goodbye, ER.."

And that is my life story. Kinda..

What made you seek our server over others? (or How did you find us?):
The year was 2008, late fall this time. By word of mouth I had heard of "private servers". I quickly dismissed this as a silly urban legend. About one month later, I stumbled upon a video on youtube about "The top ten Private Servers" or something like that, so I did some research and upon finding interesting information to say the least, quickly reinstalled the game. After spending some time on a "Blizzlike server", 5 hours to be exact, I got bored.
When I got bored, I got an idea, this idea was "Private Roleplaying Server".
And so my quest for utopia had begun.
I found this server in particular via google.
I tried it out for a few days and had some fun, but I had no time for fun that year, and thus I gave it up.

This year, however, I DO have time for fun, and as such, I am back here.

What kinds of roleplay do you enjoy?:
My favourite kind of roleplay is the "Adventure".
A small ragtag group o' folks meet up somewhere and for some reason decide to set out on a journey to a distant land in order to accomplish something. <--- Quick Summary

What is your favorite race/class? Why?:
The Night Elves, mostly due to their sweet starting position, but also due to the "Greek" feeling they so possess. If Blizzard manages to pull the Gilneans off in a stylish manner, I'll move over to them instead.
As for class, the Magus, in all of its forms, is a favourite due to the given right to be all semi-metagamer. Still, I usually stick with the rogue for some reason..

What are your expectations of this server?:
Eye be expectin' lots an' lots o' fun! Ye'd best be providen' it, ye scallywags! Yarrrr...

Out of all of our rules and regulations listed on our server, which appeals to you the most?:
Tolerance and respect, as they make for an altogether nicer community.

Lastly, tell us a story! It can be short, it can be long; but most importantly, we want to see your work in action. Go!:
I opened my eyes and stood up, I found myself to be standing in a vast flowerbed, the sun was setting in the sky.
Beyond the edges of the flowerbed, there was a deep forest. Birds were chirping in the trees, and butterflies were dancing in the fields.
I moved towards the forest, looking for something to eat. But no matter how far I wandered, I found nothing but redwood. After three hours of walking, I got spotted the end of the forest.
There was a frozen lake there, the area surrounding the lake was barren and silent, no birds were singing here, no butterflies were dancing, yet still there was someone here. On the frozen lake, I saw the moon in all her glory.
I walked out on the lake, lied down, and stared at the moon. I could hear music far away, yet still there was no sound.
I could finally find peace in this paradise, I stretched my hand up in the air, reaching for the moon.

The old man slowly reached out for something above him, still lying on the ground, it seemed like he got it, as he clenched his fist.
His arm dropped dead to the ground, and his smile slowly faded. People were gathering around him, some weeping, others pointing and laughing.
In his hand was a small, silver orb, gently lighting up the cold, dark streets.

Is there anything else you would like to add, ask, or otherwise clarify?:
Tududutu-Tududutuuu-Tadadadudaa-Tuduaaah

I couldn't just leave this space all empty, right..?

Excellent introduction, I look forward to seeing you on the server. Take a look over the wiki and rules if you have a shadow of a doubt, and welcome to Conquest of the Horde.

Nice introduction :D
I look forward to Roleplaying with your character :D

And seriously,
take a look at the wiki.
Just a quick look through will be enough.
I was kinda' baffled at some rules, which all actually come up to make this server more unique and wonderful, with everyone so into Rping ^^
And don't worry, there's still people willing to do instances and some pvp :)

I'll see ya' soon:D
Asetrix

Spoiler:
"Life goes on"
"If life gives you lemons, make Lemonade"
"Jealousy's a b***h"
"Desperation breeds Desire"

Just a handful of my favourite quotations
