FAQ Update.

I saw a rather silly thing in the Wiki today, and thought, "Gee, this isn't right." And I think I'll re-do it! I'll just need an approval on how I'll change it.

See this.
Spoiler:
Quote:How do I get my character leveled up to 80?
In order to get your character dinged up to 80 you've got to post a profile for said character. The forum section for character profiles is located here. Be sure to check the sticky topic(s) in that forum for any further information! The profile itself will need to be approved before the character can be leveled. If you are a new player to the server you must also post an introduction so that we can all wave at you in-game! The introductions section of the forum is located here. Once this is all done (introduction posted, and profile approved) then simply contact a GM and request them to level you up accordingly.
If you are new to the server: To be leveled to 80, you will need to first get out there and RP! Established players will vouch for you, and after a period of about a week, and once we have heard from enough people that you are a mature player (read the rules), you will be leveled.
When you're leveled, you'll also receive 10 silver tokens, and a rather large chunk of gold from Mok'tar in Shatterspear Village.
Remember: Do not ask GMs to look over your profile! They will get to it as soon as they can, and asking or "bumping" your profile will actually slow the process down.

Vouches? Shatterspear? Geez. Where's Piroska when we need her.

Here's how I think I might change it:

So. Should I edit it? I haven't yet.
Azheron's back in business. For reals.

OOC zone will change after the restart, possibly, so it'll have to be edited again. /shrug

In my opinion, you would be doing a favor by editing it so it's current. From my experience, the wiki was the last concern among GMs (Or at least me, because of Introductions, Profiles, and other stuff.) much of the time, and the first thing people are told to read on the server. People can help out by editing articles that they find which do not display information GMs have given in more recent forum posts.

This was before the dawning of the age of Piroskaquarius, shana-na-nah-ah-nah. Even before she was a GM she did amazing things for our wiki, including but not limited to organizing the whole dern thing.

So yeah, it does help but it's a priority to those who make it one.
