The Ordonis Odyssey

Raphael Senior and Shaena left on a spontaneous vacation to Zangarmarsh a place they enjoyed when they were younger. They felt the need to go on a trip with all the money they had lying around. They left in what they wore and headed to a portal. Raphael Junior had the house to himself, he had already spoken with his mother about his dislike for his father. A man who constantly neglected to show more than a couple words of affection or words of encouragement outside of fighting. He was the exact opposite with Raph's twin sister Lexine, this bothered Raph Jr. causing him to resent his father.

He often wondered about his uncle, who he had heard stories about but never met. Most stories were violent, displaying him in a harsh light. He may have been misunderstood Raphael Jr. thought. Maybe they were similar, He was a paladin too while he was alive. He wanted to meet him, but he wanted to improve his skills. He trained with a blade in the house, going over stance and form. He didn't hear knocking at the door, Alexandria Steamfizzle was stopping by. "Raph?" She calls out, her hand on her gun, she flips the hammer back slowly. A slight click, under the muffled chirping of birds in the distance.

Raph Jr. grunts swinging the blade through the house, he envisions fighting his father. He's guilty of it, yet he zones out focusing on his form. He finishes and walks to the door. He opens it surprised to see Lexi at the door. "A-auntie?" Raph calls out confused.

"Raph? Where's your father? Where's your mother." Lexi asks holstering her gun, she walks in as the door closes behind her. Raph Jr. looks to her with a look of confusion he sweats from his previous work out. "They left me this note..." He walks over and hands Lexi a note.

Your Mother and I left on a vacation, We'll be back. Don't break anything.

Your Father

Lexi takes the letter, she scans it as Raph walks around the wall to another part of the house. "He didn't say where they were going?" She asks. Raph returns to the room with another note. "Mom left this." He hands her a note.

Make sure you lock the doors, and the windows.

Don't stay out too late.

Remember to wash your clothes and put them in the wash area. I'll clean them in the stream when I come back.

Becareful not to break any of your fathers things.

Try not to hurt yourself, but there are first aid kits in the chest in the living room.

Remember there should be some food in the pantry, there is gold in a satchel under the bed if you need extra money for food.

Make sure you don't have company over too late.

Remember to check in with your Aunt Lexi.

Oh, We are heading to Zagarmarsh. I'm sure your dad didn't write it down.

Lexi looks up to Raph after reading the note, "What the f**k are they doing in Zagarmarsh?" Raph shrugs slinging the towel over his shoulder. He uses some of it to wipe his face. "Why where are you headed?" Raph asks her. Lexi was on the hunt for those who committed gruesome murders in Elwynn. She was on her way to Darkshire. Raph begged to go, Lexi denied. "Why won't you let me go? Just take me with you!" Raph pleaded. "No, I don't want you to get hurt, you'll understand when you have kids." She says patting his thigh. "Auntie, I fought in Northrend. I'm not a child." He says.

"I don't want you to be in any more danger than you have to be, Raph." She says. "Well, wont you need some one to heal your wounds?" Raph asks her. "Well, of course but.." She begins. "Well take me with you." He looks to her watching her closely. "Okay.." She begins, Raph takes off heading up stairs. He clumsily stumbles up them. "I'm okay!" He yells, he begins rummaging through a chest with his equipment in them. "Raph.." Lexi begins once more, Raphael turns looking to her holding a shirt. "Yeah? What is it Auntie?" He looks to her blinking.

"You didn't let me finish. If you are to come with me there will be rules." She says looking at him, speaking in an authoritative tone. He nods to her seriously. "Okay." He says waiting for her to continue. "If you are to come with me you are going to listen to me and What I say no deviation." She says, "And also if something is to ever happen to me, you run I'm not going to lose you over any heroics, you are young I need you to continue living." She says. "Yes Auntie." he agrees.

The Ordonis Odyssey: The Aunt and Uncle

She watches his closely, before nodding. "Okay then." She turns and heads outside. Raphael follows, after he dons his equipment and grabs a satchel of extra items. He walks outside, as he is rushed he squints looking over the area with the bright sun extending it's rays down upon him. The birds sing to the rhythm of the flowing water. He walks to the rumbling engine of the Mechno-hog. Lexi is propped up sitting on the bike. "Hop on." Raph throws his equipment on the back of the bike tying them on. Lexi then presses a few buttons and engages the side car. It slowly slides out and stops in front of Raph. He watches closely admiring the work and the engineering. "Amazing" He says as he hops on fascinated by the different components.

She instructed him to put on his seat belt, he complied as she rolled off the property onto the road. He rides with his hands in the air, the wind pulling at his shirt and hair. Lexi peers back and giggles to the animated young man as they ride through Elwynn Forrest. "Hey Auntie" Raph asks over the constant hum of the engine. "Yeah?" She responds. "What did you think about Uncle Zeke?" he asks. She drives on for a while. "Was he strong?" Raph asks before she can answer the first question. "Yes...He was." She says riding on.

"Hmm...I would've liked to meet him." Raph adds, "I'm sure he could've trained me or something." Raph says eagerly in the seat. Lexi nodded, "Yeah I'm sure he could've taught you something." She rides down the path and continues as it twists into Duskwood, a blanket of shadow darkening the ground save for freckles of sunlight peeking through the canopy of leaves. They rode all the way to Darkshire, with Lexi telling Raph of the murders she was there investigating. "So...How's Lexine?" She asks as they ride through the dark forest.

"Good I suppose, She's been good just focusing on school." Raph adds.

"But still in Dalaran right?" Lexi asks paying attention to the road.

"Yeah, I believe so." He says still admiring the machine over the surrounding area.

"Well then that just leaves you to worry about." She says smiling.

Raphael shakes his head chuckling. "I'm glad mom and dad left the area, with crazy people out like that out there."

They pulled into Darkshire and went into the inn. Lexi got two rooms and paid for them herself. Raphael became bored with the area, and didn't like idly sitting in a tavern. A customer of Steamfizzle Industries recognized Lexi in the tavern and struck up a conversation, Raph was concerned for the sake of his aunt, but once he realized she wasn't in danger he wanted to explore on his own. He introduced himself politely to Lexi's acquaintance but openly states his want to leave, to explore the area. Apparently the citizens of Darkshire feel their requests to Stormwind for aid have gone unanswered.

"I'll be back." Raph says as he walks out of the building.

"Don't leave the town. I'm not kidding." She says sternly.

Raphael turns around quickly and nods, only hearing Lexi use that tone when he got in trouble.

"You have my word." he responds.

She nods as he exits the tavern.

Much time has passed since Alexandria and a young Raphael were traveling in the lands of Duskwood. Change has over come the Ordonis family. A dark omen hangs over their heads, unbeknown to them....Their strength and bonds will be tested, as well as those who befriend them. The time has come...

The Ordonis Odyssey: Change

Raphael Jr and his Alexandria were once attacked on a ship most of the members on the vessel were slaughtered as magi in White cloaks stormed the ship. They bested their way through the surviving warriors and kidnapped Raphael Jr. They opened a portal and took him to a land where their cult was worshiping the stars. Here they tortured their witnesses and interrogated those who held knowledge they wanted. They sat around large camp fires chanting to the night sky, speaking of skulls and blood. Thinking quick on his feet, Raphael killed one of his captors and posed as them until he could get a message to his aunt to come to his rescue. She got his message and left immediately. Raphael stayed amongst them remaining anonymous but he was beginning to stand out. They went to "survey the land" and then admitted they were on to him. The cultists were prepared to kill him, it was then Alexandria showed up. Their battle was fierce but quick, killing only who stood in their way and they flew from the jungles of the Sholazar Basin.

The two split up when she dropped him off in the Borean Tundra, Raph had a lot on his mind. And his aunt was a busy gnome, he tried to focus on what it was he saw. What were they doing? What were they after? He spent days pondering these questions over the tinkering of the gnomes. Finally he felt he needed aid, he would track down his twin sister Lexine. She would know what to do, he boarded a plane and headed for the Eastern Kingdoms.

Raphael Senior began setting up fights around Azeroth unaware of his son's whereabouts. He began meeting with other fight promoters who all would work for gold. He was planning on starting a traveling fighting tournament since he himself was too old to fight. The fights would be different however, as they would be a fight to the death. Raphael had been to Stranglethorn and other places in the Eastern Kingdoms and planned on heading to Kalimdor. He Headed to Booty Bay.

Lexine had been working with the Alliance Volunteer Army, she focused on helping those in Elwynn and Duskwood while her father and brother were away. She ended up meeting a man, one whom she eventually came to love and it was then that she crossed paths with her brother. The two males didn't get along but attempted to for their mutual care of Lexine. It was there Raph told his sister of his situation, of these figures who had captured him. He felt they were following him still. He appeared calm, but exhausted his concern was in his voice but he was too strong to admit it. She offered aid but he didn't want to get her involved after a few drinks he left.

Raphael senior made it into the town, and ordered a few drinks. He sat in the tavern thinking of how his life turned out, his family and how he had failed at keeping them together. They were young and needed to explore he told himself, They were indeed -his- children. He missed them dearly and wished for their well being. At this moment bells went off in the city as pirates were coming to the bay, in a hostile fashion. Large explosions were heard as cannons began raiding the town. Wood splinters, goblins and patrons all flew in the air as the bombardment continued. The Massacre was long but the patrons, guards and warriors prevailed in stopping the raid. It was then Raphael felt he could still fight if he had to, he began curious on what his limits were. He kept this idea to himself however.

Raphael Jr. was saved from his isolation by a group of fighters and scientists alike. They went by the name of T E C H and sought after stopping corruption in the world. Sharing their love for Technology Raphael stayed with them but kept knowledge of his own pursuers to himself. He worked on some inventions and befriend some of their members. Because of the guilt he felt from his secret he eventually told Olive Goodwind the leader of T E C H of his predicament. She wanted to help, but Raphael left before he could shed further light on the subject.

Spoiler:

It was later they approached him and gave him an ultimatum. Work for them, or die. Working for them consisted on finding an elf that was hunting for the skulls he heard them chanting about. He said he'd consider it to buy some time, the members then disappeared as quickly as they had came. He finally returned to his aunt and asked her what he should do. She told him that she would stick through it with him, to the end. They met once again at Mimiron's Anchorage and discussed plans and his poor relationship with his father. Again one of the cultists appeared before them threatining them both. This member said his King or ruler that he served under didn't wish to give Raphael any extra time and that he would be hunted and killed. The warning was given and the cultist disappeared. He and Lexi went to Ironforge to begin construction and augmentation on a zeppelin for a Demon Hunter customer named Fala'thorei.

All the while, Ezekiel Ordonis had been hunting someone, confident in his nephews abilities he had no need to watch over him any longer.
