The Sixth

Quote:Draenor was home for us for centuries and these short period of time we made more happy memories here than any other world yet. Even on these slivers of a world they linger, rooted deeply in our hearts. Sometimes moments so strong that they can transcend the physical realm.
- Anchorite Telah

Ever since the pilgrims came to Shattrath odd things have occured. Several of the group have experienced odd dreams, nightmares and spoken alot in their sleep. Anchorite Telah have suffered the most, falling into trance and even becoming violent during one lapse.

  • Find all three reagents. X
  • Gather the spirits agenda and if it poses any danger. /
  • Understand the use of the tincture. /
  • Consume the tincture. X

Summary of knowledge
It all began as the pilgrimage reached Shattrath, when odd nightmares and sleeplessness began to plague them. No pattern have been detected on who or when this happened but it's safe to say it has affected anchorite Telah the most. He was the first one to speak in his sleep, repeating "we joining" and "weed" aswell as moving his lips alot as if speaking but with no audible words. When waking he could not remember anything of the dream to connect what was uttered.

The first reoccuring dream had the dreamer on a pedestal in the center of a crowd of draenei reaching for help, their lips moving but again nothing heard. The second dream is set in hall so vast the edges cannot be seen with just a dusty floor, trying to move towards a wall leads nowhere and it ends with pieces of ripped cloth falling from the skies, each and everyone soiled with tears. Both the limitations of the room and the tears are told by intuition, not observation. Some say they have dreamed this dream from different perspectives.

At the Allerian Stronghold something entranced Telah. Speaking in draenei tongue to everyone as if they were children, asking them to flee the area before they were spotted. He turned towards something only he could see, screaming that it did not belong. Noticing that none left he became violent and was in the end sapped and slipped into a coma. Nexi managed to break the coma, right before he awoke Telah said he was standing in the middle of a huge crowd of draenei and he was shorter than all of them. Then he began to describe how each and everyone of them looked like before coming to. He has no memories of the trance or what he said in the coma.

Abby found a locket in Auchindoun which she presented to Telah and it seemed to entrance him. Taking no risks he was subdued before he hurt himself or anyone else, but this time he did not fall into a coma.

As the pilgrimage move away from Shattrath the events basically diminished entirely. But there they were approached by farseer Mochla who claimed that a number of spirits is following Telah. One orc spirit and the rest draenei, of which one was described as "forced to it's knees". She also noted that it was strange that these spirits did not seem pullsed towards Oshu'gun. Telah thinks that the orc spoke to the spirits during their imprisonment at Garadar.

In search of spiritual guidance, Nexi and Telah journeyed back to the Exodar to meet Hobahken, krokul shaman and once teacher to Nexi. He explained that the answer sought could only be found among the spirits themselves and that a 'walk' into their realm was necessary. Then Hobahken took his time to explain the elements of such a rite in detail with the shamaness.

After a few days of preparation the draenei attempted to perform the rite outside the walls of Shattrath but were interupted by the "wildlife". Up on Aldor Rise they tried again and Telah was knocked out with Abby overlooking Nexi and him. On the other side the shaman is approached by a strong will that leaves her a "clear" message; Eyes aglow from the marsh, dust of memory to be held and a drop of blood.
Nexariel have been unwilling to go into the details of what was seen when Telah and her were beyond this realm.

This message was dicussed back and forth among the pilgrims and it was decided that "dust of memory to be held" must be ashes from the nearby mega-mausoleum, Auchindoun. A group of them set out to fetch this dust sensed to an otherwordly presence as soon as they set hoof in that once sacred place. They split in two to lessen their stay, but after almost two hours of looking they came up with nothing. Then "appeared" a presence, a young draenei lass, taking Kitaala by the hand and showing her where to look. In the end the pilgrims found what seemed to be ashen remains, stuffed a pouchful and left in a hurry.

Telah left Shattrath and his fellow pilgrims behind without obvious reason nor notice, not even Nexariel. In a few days the bad dreams had stopped and the only sleepless were those with heavy hearts.
Two months passed before the anchorite returned and he did so gaunt, bruised and suffering from severe swamphoof.

After the return and convalescence of anchorite Telah the pilgrims set out for the second reagent, glowing eyes from a marsh. Zangar was the destination, being the only remaining marsh. Though the vague definition lead them to collect all possible eyes aglow; flame caps, tripod eyes and stalks, nether ray and sporebat eyes.

Nexariel and Telah, growing somewhat desperate decided to approach Auchindoun along with the mage Allira. This an attempt to gain more answers or at least clues from the spirits. The trio were attacked by unseen enemies and told by the voice of a girl to turn back.

One night at the Infirmary led the pilgrims to perform an experiment to see what reagent of the ones collected in Zangarmarsh were the right one, assuming that the last ingredient was blood. With success they realized that the sporebat eyes was the correct one.

Thinking their guiding anchorite lost once more, the pilgrims head out into the Bone Wastes to visit the site where they earlier faught ghosts. The presence of spirits is revealed through anchorite Aiya, but the party get ambushed by blackclad orcs armed with poisoned weapons. At the bottom of the mausoleum Aiya tries to call forth the spirits, but is overwhelmed and fall into a state of paranoia and hallucinations.
