The air felt cold, within the early morning dawn.
A loud yell filled the air, birds flew off by the sound of it. Small insects digged their way back into the ground as the yelling continued.
A young woman, with blonde hair was rolling over the floor, while a man covered in red and black attire stood above her.
A silk hood covered his face but only his fel green eyes were visible.
“ S..Stop!†The young woman yelled as she made another turn in an attempt to stop the searing pain that rushed through her brain. The man slowly shook his head.
“ You haven't obeyed. Now you will have to deal with the consequences my dear.â€Â
The way the man said it made it look like he enjoyed every minute of it.
He looked down on the woman as she inhaled heavily as her body shook.
His right arm that was stretched above the young woman was pulled back to his side again.
He released the grip he had on the arcane.
Slowly the woman started to relax her muscles again, her breath slowly went back to normal.
“ I… I tried…†The young said while she tried to lean on her right shoulder.
Her face was covered in mud. Her robes had small traces of blood on it as well as mud.
“I never asked you to try, now did I?†The man narrowed his eyes and looked down on her. “Ireisha Sunbreed, agony is placed upon youâ€Â
As the words were spoken the woman curled up in agony again.
Her body started to shock again, only this time a small trace of blood slowly came out of her mouth.
“I must admit you are strong, but I wonder how long your body can handle these curses dear.â€Â
The man said the words as if he found it ironic how the woman was rolling over the floor.
He enjoyed every second of the torture he had put upon this woman.
“ P…Please stop this.†The woman tried to keep her body under control as it continued to shock heavily.
Blood kept dripping out of her mouth and the veins on her arms looked like they could explode any minute.
The man shook his head before speaking again.
“Dear Ireisha, I never asked you to try, I told you to do it.
I told you to obtain an item that I hold dear. I also ordered you to make sure that nobody would follow you.â€Â
The man took a quick glance over his shoulder and eyed the corpse that was lying in the dirt.
“And you did not achieve such an easy task.â€Â
The man chuckles loudly under his hood.
“Therefore my dear, you will have to feel what it is to misbehave.â€Â
The man waved with his hand.
“ I hope you have learned from this.â€Â
As the pain slowly was released upon her body, her head felt heavy.
Her veins kept throbbing while she tried to inhale large amounts of air.
Her breast went up and down as she did so. The man looked at her with a firm look.
She knew that escaping this man would mean death.
As she slowly regained her control over her body, another pain shock went through her stomach. She bend over with her hand on her waist coughing.
More blood started to pour through her mouth as she continued coughing.
The pain was unbearable. She knew that something had snapped.
“You will need to travel your way back to Silvermoon city, my dear.â€Â
The man took a few steps into her direction, kneeling down right beside her.
If she only had the strength to place her elbow between his rips.
The man took off his hood and placed a hand on her back.
“I can tell that one of your kidneys snapped… What a pity, I don't think it will last long until you will find what you deserve.â€Â
The man got back to his knees.
“I pity your ignorant behavior, as well as your good heart. You could have been such a great apprentice, Ireisha… It is a real pity.â€Â
Ireisha looked up at the man. “I found your object, and I gave it back to you, now why do I have to suffer, while I-…â€Â
Another cough made the young woman bend over and spit blood on the floor.
When she finally looked up the man was holding a ball filled with shadow in his hand.
As she realized what the man was about to do tears slowly welled up in her eyes.
The man smirked as he looked at the shocked woman.
“And because you helped me obtain this artifact, I will help you out of your misery.†The man grinned and released his Shadow bolt.
As the bolt went straight for its target another heartbreaking screech filled the air.
Then… an awful silence.
The man pulled back his hood on, and took a glance at the moveless body of the young woman.
He sighed and turned. He knew that this was just his first victim, and more would follow.
But first he needed to find that one Kal'dorei he worked with in the past...
