A small passenger ship was sailing from Booty Bay to Ratchet. Upon the deck were, of course, passengers looking to get from point A to point B. There were also the crew, but most of all, there were a few, ambitious pirates.
They had been planning from the start to poison the dinner, and it worked very well too. Only one of the passengers, a mage, had not eaten from the poisoned meals, preferring a little conjured muffin over eating from a bunch of cheapskate goblins. However, this didn't save him from the battle of the pirates.
When it came to night time the crew themselves were barely able to fight back and were promptly killed. The passengers went to investigate, and fight the attacking pirates. However, the poison was starting to get worse. They only took down two before everyone, except the draenei, fell down unconscious in a feverish state. The draenei was promptly beaten down while he was trying to save one of the passengers.
All the slaves were chained, stripped of their weapons, and stowed away.
The next day was pleasant sailing for the newly-formed crew. The ship sure stunk because all the passengers that were poisoned couldn't hold back their dinners, but the captain Skipper was cool enough to clean up most of the mess(because it was her idea to make everyone sick). The bodies of the crew by then had been looted and thrown overboard, and Skipper had assumed the role of captain. She seemed fine and happy with her new crew and ship. She didn't seem to care as much about the gold, but the new and exciting adventure ahead. Of course she didn't mind having the gold, it was a good perk of being a pirate.
When they made it to Stranglethorn all the slaves were marched to Booty Bay. They were auctioned off by their group at a ridiculous price, but the goblin taxation evened out most of it. Between looting the now-dead crew, the passenger's belongings, and finding the savings stashed in the ship, the crew made 400 gold. Each crew member participating (Zak, Zach, Cayn, Wayton, and Cazzak) were given 25 gold each, which was a good starting wage. One hundred gold went into retrofitting the ship. Fifty gold went to buying cannons. Ten gold went towards buying new maps, upon the speculation of treasure. The rest of the gold has been stashed away on the ship to help cover the upkeep and wages.
The pirates participating in this event are considered to be founding members of this new crew, that has yet to be named.
