Feedback.

Hello CoTH, I may have made some enemies OOC. ALl that asside over my year of being here. I would like some feedback of my characters. I know most of you have RPed with them. Most noticable ones.

Larak
Iscaro
Vindaes
Teranis
Gralkar
Listare

I welcome any comments of how the characters are played and my RP.

Thanks and looking forward to reading the comments. :D

I have added Larak to the list, because he is becoming one of my favorite characters. If any of you are following his storyline it really grasps his personality and such.

The only character of yours I got to RP with would be Teranis L'Aristar, and in my opinion he's too full of himself and thinks that he knows everything, not letting other people to have a shot at some things. I also think that I got to RP with Iscaro Laveas a bit, in the AVA, and that was a noticeably better experience. That'd be all, cheers!

Quite the contrary - good roleplaying is making up a reason for your character to do that thing, no matter the obstacles!"

Ahh thanks. Well the reason Teranis acts that way is, because he lived in the Cathedral his entire life. He doesn't exactly know how to not be a leader. He assumes he knows everything.

And thanks for the comment. :)

I'll comment on the characters who I feel that I've RP'd with enough to justify feedback.

Iscaro:
To me Iscaro seems like a surly, angry person with an enormous ego. Not inclined to show much emotion except rage or annoyance over others. His personality is hard to grasp, as is his alignment. He seems to be the type of person that could switch from good to evil in a heartbeat depending on his own motivation and gain. He has imposing traits that is enforced by many strengths, but there is little weakness to even it out. He seems competitive, be it in a battle or just an argument. A competitiveness that makes it appear as if he is compensating for something, as if he always needs to be right and better. At least in my perception.

However, I've had more than one enjoyable RP with Iscaro.

Vindaes:
Vindaes is the father of Iscaro, which is shown in a surprising similarity of traits. He is basically the same character, with a few differing fragments in his personality.
Vindaes seems to be older and more calculated, but has the same competitiveness that Iscaro shows. Though he does so without much emotion.
He has a surprising physique and athletic ability for an older gentleman. Traits that I find to be strange as the body begins to weaken long before the age of 50. Another imposing character who is hard to grasp.

I have enjoyed the IC posts about him however, if I was to give advice I'd say try to implement the same feelings he shows in the storyline in actual RP. It would make him a much deeper and interesting character.

Teranis:
I can't comment on Teranis, although I've RP'd the most with him. This due to the fact that I do not know to what extent he was revamped after his profile was approved.

Gralkar:
Gralkar is another imposing character, but my favorite from the list. He has a believable anger for an orc, but is still able to express sadness and regret in a well played fashion. Emotionally I found him to be deeper and more vivid than the others, traits that was put under a realistic suppression as he sought to study shaman-ism. Well played, truly.

That would be all, hope it helps.

Thanks for the feedback. Was really spot on if I must say. I will try to implement Vind's IC posts into RP.

RPing with Iscaro was a very interesting experience. He reminds me of an old-time gunslinger in a way, a watcher who knows what is going on in town and has a very anti-hero way of going about doing things. In another person's hands it may seem very cliche, but in yours it is done extremely well. I can see the character thriving in a truly lawless environment.

I enjoy RPing with Vindaes, as well as chatting OOCly. He seems like a regular good friend, and one my character wouldn't be afraid to approach for combat advice. Everytime Vind comes on, Kapre looks forward to seeing a match. He's a good friend :)
