- Feedback for Saif & co

Good day fellow CoTHian's. I've been RPing on the server for some time now, and time has come to ask for some feedback. The characters in question would be:

• Saif: army veteran and nomad.
  Inuleki: the jittery, unsuccessful thief.
  Perin: gnomish cripple, cannibal.
  Luka: now deceased, former Scarlet Defender.

Negative feedback in particular would be helpful.

I've only spotted your characters around and about but I loved Inuleki and Maya's little interaction a few weeks ago.
Something about the way you RPed him being off his head on felweed was just perfect. I wish I'd saved those logs, for some reason I was really impressed at your portrayal of him talking to Raffimar whilst using one of the hookahs. I don't know.

And wow, Perin. He was a wonderfully creepy warlock. Once again I only saw one or two significant things like when he stabbed Bailey but I loved seeing him around when I did see him.

I know you asked for negative feedback but I'm not sure I have any, I really enjoyed the few times I did get the chance to RP with your characters.

Jac, you're a very talented player and your characters are always original and well thought out.
I liked saif but won't comment since I have too little exposure to give any meaningful feedback on him.

I thought inluecki was very interesting... Not your typical baddie.. Instead balanced with some weaknesses.. Very believable.

You know what I think of your rp so I won't bore you with all this positive nonsense

Regarding negative criticism, I think that sometimes you tend to rush to the end of rp fights. Just my personal opinion, I would say when fighting, take your time and allow for fights to resolve slowly and creatively. I know this is near impossible when you play with
People who's ego won't them their character take reasonable damage...

Personally I like fights that involve thing other than weapons - for example, using chairs and mugs in a barroom fight, a rock pick, shovel, or chain for a more outdoor fight etc...
Also, fight that traverse space are a lot of fun - chasing, leaping from ledges, etc.. Just adds more
Dimension and more room for unexpected possibilities.

About the RP fights, I can only agree that I have a tendency to rush it. When in a roll fight I find the creativity I'd have in a trust fight stifled.
I myself love to play out fights with people that I know will be reasonable, and be willing to lose and take damage much as myself. Leaping through windows and down ledges does sound like fun though, Inuleki is not much of a fighter but he does have a good pair of legs from running. Be it from the guards, bigger badder baddies or just people that scares him xD

Saif on the other hand is more of a traditional fighter, being a nomad he'll use his scimitar and shield while rocking his turban. Not a very epic nor insanely skilled fighter, but he gets by on experience and good old tough as nails guts.

Perin - Creeps the hell out of me. And that's a very good thing, makes me really enjoy the rp with him.

Very hard to do so. In my experience RPing with your characters I always find it a pleasure. The storylines are engaging, and I find the variety to be refreshing. Even a strong character like Saif never seems to be totally invincible (at least to me the player...I'm sure a char or two would be scared stiff XD).

Can't comment on the fights because the only real battle I've had with you was a roll fight (Diby still wants to kill him for taking her leg XD).

Only complaint I can really make is that I need to find you more to RP with you. Keep up the good work!

I got to RP quite a lot with Saif when I was in the AVA with Elisha. It was really fun to watch him make Elisha swim in that wtfcold water xD. He is a very interesting character, seeming to push the soliders to their limits and acting like the angry commander, but still not being the angry commander, and that is quite epic. :3

I RPed some with Inuleki pre-restart with my hippie Troll, Vooran. If I remeber right, he had just been able to escape from the cartel, or something and was half-dead in thejungle when Vooran found him. He seemed like such a sad character. Nothing ever worked out for him D:. I haven't met Inuleki since then, and I don't remeber much other than that xD.

I think you portrayed Luka's hyperactivity very well. He had something child like about him, in a good way. Like how he always followed Stanbridge(I think) around, asking him about the light,

I can't really say anything bad about your characters xD. They's all epic.

Indeed. Playing Luka was a fun experience, and I'm glad to hear that I managed to portray him well.

Speaking of feedback, I'd like to request some on my storylines and IC posts as well.
