Immortality through dark magic

Oh! Also, it's not quite immortality, but drinking demon blood does in fact cause a person to live well past their 'due date' to put it elegantly.

Quote:However! This brings up an interesting point. If one was to make a soul stone, and place it somewhere deep within the Nether, would they age slower?

Oh, to answer your question, I do not believe it would. Don't quote me on this, but the body would need to be in the Nether, not just the soul stone. And also, considering that Aulten is a very adept Demonologist and would have a large amount of fel in him, it should also taint his soul, correct? Which would make the soul stone a target for the Legion

But here's a thought: could a necromancer extract his soul from his body and emplant it in a slain man's body? It would sort-of make him undead, but at the same time, not really. Or is that possible?

Oh! Demon blood! But then, he'd go insane.

Yes, but it's also very, -very- corrupting. The risks are extremely high >.<

and no, a necromancer wouldn't do that. You can't force a man's soul into another man's body. The body would reject the soul.

For the record, it was Nozdormu, not Ysera, that granted the Night Elves immortality with their blessing to the World Tree.

There's a spell where a warlock can in fact possess a person's body, by pushing the body's original host into a crystal. If the crystal is destroyed, and the necromancer's original body is burned, then the necromancer's soul has no where to go, and the host's soul is essentially destroyed.

Well, yes, Bel, a necromancer can force out the soul of a person and place it into a crystal. I haven't heard of the latter half of that though, the inhabiting their body part.

What I was getting at though was making an Old Horde DK-style person, or in this case, whatever you want to consider it, really. Taking Aulten's soul and infusing it into a warrior's body type thing.

Gul'dan is a lore character. It's different.

Maybe. But usually, players are not allowed to do lore character level stuff. Like this. Here's my suggestion. Pay money, get a race change, become draenei. Done.

Dude. Have you ever heard of Lorefigureoitis? It's when random people wish to be lore figures, or do what they could. This is a very serious inflictment, as Lore Figures are Lore Figures, and players are players. It's a proven fact that 93% of everything a lore figure does it "too OP" for a regular player to do.

I lulz at both of those comments...haha.

I think though that I'm just going to stick with Plan A unless I'm told otherwise by a GM. In which case I shall evoke the patron saint of bad ideas, Plan B.
