Greenies and Greenskins
#1
It was a day like any other, Ralkurian stood his self-designated post and fought back the demons as they tried to cross the bridge, one by one. One against one they were no match for him, two against one and he would break a sweat, three against one would make him grit his teeth and narrow his eyes. On this day though, it would be no demon that would provide the greatest challenge. Instead of a demonic force from another realm, the challenge instead came from deep cover within the brush. A shaman, and recent acquaintance of Ralkurian's, Ghan ran into the woods with his brother in arms to search for their hunters.

Upon entering this unfamiliar territory they were ambushed by two elves. The orcs stood their ground and Ralkurian quickly sprung into action before the elf that would wish him harm could draw her blade.

They tumbled to the ground dead leaves and dust flying into the air; the orc trying to subdue rather than kill his ambusher. Ghan had his hands full with another elf that wielded two swords with agility and cunning. Ralkurian was feeling confident that he could overpower the night elf but then came an unexpected surprise: another elf. This would make things interesting. "These elves are not as predictable as the demons are," the orc thought to himself.

After realizing that subduing his opponent was not a viable option (after failing a number of times) he drew his axes, hoping to demonstrate his might, and perhaps intimidate the she-elves. He had no such luck, these elves were as stubborn as his father, not backing down. As one sprung by him, kicking the back of his leg, he let out a grunt of pain, but smiled as the elf drifted by. While they were fierce opponents, he had certainly fought others that smelled much worse than these ones. A smile broke across his face and he lunged at her again. He saw Ghan out of the corner of his eye, struggling with two opponents.

Then, right as he thought he would land a finishing blow, the elf before him vanished into the brush, running away as a coward. Ralkurian's attention shifted towards the other elf. He said "It doesn't have to be this way...I admire your spirit elf, but there are other things to attend to," with that Ralkurian pointed to an infernal that was walking not 300 yards from them. The elf showed not apparent interest in anything but spilling the orc's blood. After trying again to fight the elf without lethal force (using the flat of his axes) he was able to restrain her with his strength alone.

He agreed to let her go if she would help deal with the demons. She seemed to agree, but upon letting her go she lashed out like a wild crocolisk, and he narrowly dodged her attack. Using an earth grip (pointed down) her blade came as an uppercut, Ralkurian's years of practice, and sharp reflexes allowed him to escape with his life. The blade did remove part of his braid thought. The time for talk was over...Ralkurian drew his axes and decided that he would not play games anymore with this elf. After a few exchanges, Ralkurian was able to land a few crucial injuring blows. One to the collar bone, and one to the midsection. The elf crumpled, hesitantly to the ground. But what of Ghan?

Ghan was in a battle of magics with an elvish druid. Both of them calling upon the forces of nature, but it appeared as though the elf was besting him. Just then Ghan collapsed unconscious onto the forest floor. In a blood fury, Ralkurian charged the last standing elf. She tried to grab a vine and swing away, but he was too quick, the rage inside him too strong. There was something about this elf though, she kept trying to talk to him. The rage was blinding him, he wanted blood. She stood in front of her friend on the ground as the green-skinned orc approached. There was something about her voice that was calming. The Darnassian accent on her voice, soothing his rage. He was able to restrain himself and hook his axes again on his belt.

He began to pace...waiting for the elf to chose her words wisely. She did, and with the help of another elf that came from the woods, they came to a peaceful agreement. He would leave the forest, and its demons that were ravaging it, so as to not 'intrude on their territory'. He hesitantly left, but fighting this druid, and the new heavily armored newcomer would probably not bode well for him. He picked up his fellow orc and brought him to safety. After pouring a vial of healing potion into the orc's mouth, Ralkurian left the forest. He would head out for Orgrimmar, and then...perhaps the jungles of Stranglethorn and the orc encampment known as Grom'Gol...he had heard that many a beast there could challenge even the greatest warriors....he must find out if the rumors were true..

It was a nice read, although could you space it out a tad? It was a little hard on my eyes to read.
