Vin cleaned Esil for the hundredth time. The runeblade was already cleaned to perfection, as was her twin, Andrasil, but Vin figured it was better to make –sure- they were clean.

“Vin, I'm hungry.” Vin looked over to where Andrasil lay. “I know. Just wait. I'm sure I'll be able to feed you soon.”

Vin sheathed Esil and walked over to Andrasil, caressing the blade lovingly. “Just be quiet and I promise I'll get you something to eat.”

The death knight could almost imagine the petulant child that was Andrasil pouting. “But I'm hungry now! I NEED FOOD!” Vin winced. “I know, and I promise I'll feed you soon. Just be patient.”

“NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Vin screeched, throwing the runeblade at the nearest wall. Andrasil hit it with a clang before falling down to meet the floor, growing quiet. Vin looked at Andrasil for a moment before death gripping it, catching it in midair as “he” flew towards her. She muttered to the runeblade fondly.

“Please be more quiet in the future. I don't like hurting you.” Andrasil remained quiet, and Vin decided to take it for acquiescence. She began to clean the blade for the hundredth and first time. “What about those pirates recently? Weren't they satisfying?”

Andrasil still didn't speak up, so Vin sheathed him, letting her mind wander. She strolled out of the tavern room, taking in everything. Just the usual drunken patrons. Vin walked down the stairs and traversed the bar floor, carefully avoiding what looked to be a drunken, passed out gnome. She opened the door. It was raining again. Ice began to coat the puddles around Vin's feet. She looked at them, sighing quietly, before walking out into the rain.
