I'm... not one for flashy good byes. I didn't want to post anything at first, but then I figured I might as well.
Most people saw this coming a while ago, but my own little journey on CotH is coming to it's end.
I... I had a lot planned to say. I planned on ragequitting at times, and at times of simply trying to fill people with pointless advice. I just... won't.
My reasons for leaving CotH are my own, but I'll be more than willing to tell anyone on private. Just like, anyone I have something to talk about, will be contacted privately.
I'm somewhat impulsive, however, this act was planned and considered for months. I might end up coming back, I don't know. But for now, I won't.
There's people I like and people I don't like in the server, just like there's people that do and do not like me. I simply want to say to every one of you, that you have my respect.
Despite all flaws, as obvious or not as they may be, CoTH holds what I see as a core of elite RPers within it's walls. Some people here are among the best I've ever met - and I consider that, personally, kinda big, as I managed a RP forum for a good few years prior to joining CoTH.
I most likely won't be fully gone, for now. I'll check the forums, perhaps, butt in my opinions and ideas to Kretol sometime. I expect the process to be somewhat... gradual, before it's finally permanent.
What else to add? I think that perhaps a small piece of advice, that matches me as much as it does all of you.
Think. Before you speak, before you act, think. Who are you talking to? What have they done? Is it something trivial? Is it worth the bother? What is the best course of action? How will it reflect? What are the foreseen consequences of such action? Is -that- worth it?
And things like that. I figure, thinking before acting would have saved me and a lot of other people I know on the server, a lot of issues, problems.
But, alas, time runs short and waits for none. I guess this is the end.
