First and foremost: Tell us about yourself, as a player.:
Well, I started playing this game around the same time it released. I started out as a heavy PvE'er, about two years ago, a friend recommend Roleplaying on Warcraft III. I thought it would be stupid and boring, but boy was I wrong! I enjoyed it so much I transfered all of my high level charecters immediately to Moon Guard where I currently reside. I have been roleplaying for a good two years now and believe I am a fairly strong one.
It's been quite a journey for me, so many roleplay events and good times and friends. I hope that you allow me the priviledge of roleplaying with your community.
What country do you come from? What is your primary language?
I currently reside in New Jersey, born in raised in America. I can speak English, and a bit of Russian and German.
How did you get into Warcraft?:
About six years ago, when Warcraft was hitting it's Vanilla stage. A friend came to me and explained the game to me, I was pumped, I couldn't wait to play the game! The next day I begged my parents to take me out and purchase the game. I've been hooked ever since.
What made you seek our server over others? (or How did you find us?):
A guild member on Moon Guard told me about the server, Tarne, he explained the server and what was available to roleplay with and it blew my mind! He explained to me how strict you are, something that I crave. Cracking down on Godmodders and Meta-gamers is a must, when I heard that the language barrier was removed. I decided it was time for me to try a Private server.
What kinds of roleplay do you enjoy?:
That depends on which Faction I am currently roleplaying on. As an Alliance member I prefer the adventurous, daring, risky life of a mercenary. I do enjoy the occasional drink in the local tavern or maybe a violent clash with my target. I really enjoy just about anything with Alliance members.
Now, for the Horde! I will ONLY roleplay as an Orc, I love their tribal, survival of the fittest lifestyle. As an Orc I love fighting and purely that, showing off strength and rising above other Orcs is my goal. There is no relaxation for my charecter, only training. I always strive to perfect my Orcs in the ways of combat and battle.
What is your favorite race/class? Why?:
Hmmm, this is a tough one. I must say, Human Rogue. I love the combination, it fits my mercenary lifestyle perfectly. I feel that roleplaying as a Human comes quite naturally because I am one, and what better mercenary class than a Rogue?
For my Horde side, it would have to be a Orcish Warrior, it fits my roleplay style so perfectly. A berserker-styled fighter, always training, always perfect combat. Those two racial/class combinations fit my style perfectly.
What are your expectations of this server?:
I expect this server to be an enjoyable place for me to donate time to. To be strict on those who godmod and meta-game. Nothing annoys me more then when one of my assassination plots is ruined because someone tips them off OOCly. I hope for a mature, strong group of roleplayers to enjoy the game with. After all, the entire point of roleplay is to have fun.
Out of all of our rules and regulations listed on our server, which appeals to you the most?:
I love your rules regarding godmodding and meta-gaming. As previously stated I hate when my plans are ruined by meta-gamers. It gives me a good feeling about this server that you ban the griefers and godmodders.
Another that stuck out to me was your rules on Drug use, Racism, and Rape. Three things I am STRONGLY against. Jokes about them aren't funny, they are cruel and make all of them seem like they are good things! I love your rules regarding the subject.
Lastly, tell us a story! It can be short, it can be long; but most importantly, we want to see your work in action. Go!:
*As the scene comes together you would visualize a rather small tavern, in the corner stands a tall, Human, Male. He is surrounded in a puff of smoke, a short cigar placed between his fingers. A rather short, plump Dwarf walks up to him.*
(( The Dwarve's name will be Jloine, the Human, my charecter, Irth. ))
Jloine: " I've heard of you, the men call you Shadowstep. "
Irth: " Shadowstep, eh? That depends, who are you? "
Jloine:" An angry Dwarf with a problem, a problem I think you can solve. *While the Dwarf speaks he fingers a small bag of gold.*
Irth: " Now we're talking, whats the issue? " * Irth takes a large puff of his cigar, he exhales the smoke in a large puff above his head. *
Jloine: " Well, you see, I run a Polearm shop down the street. It was doing fairly well until this 'other' Dwarf opened up another Polearm store right next door! I need you to trash the store, hell burn it! "
Irth: "That's a bit risky, what are you willing to offer in exchange for my services?"
*Jloine would toss the pouch of coins to Irth, he would pry open the bag and peer down at the gold.*
Irth: " Very well, point me in the right direction... "
