Nikova`s Introduction
#1
First and foremost: Tell us about yourself, as a player.:
Circa 2006, I was introduced to role play. I never understood the concept, but I was more than willing to learn. I liked developing my characters, but before I knew role play, that was only with gear, talents, and appearance. Since then, I've evolved farther than I have expected myself to, enjoying the build-up of the character itself, and being something that isn't possible in real life.

I listen to some pretty classic music, but I also listen to some modern stuff. (The Beatles, Porcupine Tree, Styx are examples.)

I've been video gaming since Dreamcast, and I never took it seriously until I evolved into a multiplayer person on World of Warcraft.

Art is something I'm okay at, but nothing I've gotten anywhere near good at. I enjoy analyzing another artist's style.

What country do you come from? What is your primary language?
The United States.

How did you get into Warcraft?:
During 2004, I got World of Warcraft for Christmas. I thought it was an okay game (as it was my first MMO), so I got in to it. Learned that there were more games like it, so I started trying some other things. It's not a big thing to talk about, really.

What made you seek our server over others? (or How did you find us?):
A friend told me about this community.

What kinds of roleplay do you enjoy?:
All kinds, as long as it's interesting and fun.

What is your favorite race/class? Why?:
Personally, I'd have to say a night elf warrior has to stick out to me. Being a night elf, all I can really say is that I enjoy being a race that goes all-out for protecting one's own species, family, home, or what-have-you, and the general desire to dare themselves in order to do so is great.

I like to be a warrior for the raw power involved, and it's the only class that makes the most sense to me. I enjoy a fighter that has the ability to do a lot of things, from being a meat-shield, all the way to a berserk fighter.

What are your expectations of this server?:
Not a whole lot, to be honest. I just want to have fun.

Out of all of our rules and regulations listed on our server, which appeals to you the most?:
The "keyboard skills" rule stood out to me the most!

Lastly, tell us a story! It can be short, it can be long; but most importantly, we want to see your work in action. Go!:
Upon arriving in the massive port city of Booty Bay, there was only one thing a particular soul could even fathom doing:

Drinking.

And so she went, seeking the final goal of her day by carefully guiding her horse down the small wooden plank that connected to the vessel, before lifting her eyes up to the burning tropical sun of Stranglethorn. "Boy, is it hot!" She muttered, lifting a plated finger up to swipe a bead of sweat, before letting out a sigh. "Let's go." She commanded the horse, as they moved along on the old platforms—each plank gave a groan of reluctance to holding the weight of the two.

As the duo of horse and woman reached the tavern, she decided to lock up the horse nice and tight at the trough. "No goblin will steal you from me." She teased, flattering the animal as she turned about to finish her objective. The smell of alcohol and cheap appetizers buzzed through her nose like a sickly, intoxicating perfume. Soon, she'd let herself be guided through to push the old doors open, only to be blasted by a thick, musky air. Many different pirates (mostly goblins, logically) huddled with their friends and drinking buddies, or clamored to impress the barmaids that were throwing mugs of ale around to those who needed it. The sight of it was simply grand, and she felt she needed to be part of it. Of course, all the armor she wore made her stand out, and the tavern grew silent the farther she made her way in. After what felt like a whole day of being stared at, she ground her firm, plated rear into a seat, and smiled at the bartender with a quirked, bushy eyebrow. "Ye' be needin'-a' drink, shinin' lass?" He asked with a gruff, dull tone. "Why, yes," she replied—her voice was a harsh contrast, with a beautiful, smooth flow, "and I would like the biggest mug you have full of brew."

Naturally, this made everyone cheer. No one was ever able to finish a drink out of Booty Bay's Abyss! "Huh, well, ya' better be-a' payin' up f'r that kind-a' drink, lass." He stated quite clearly, just before the woman slid the handful of gold. "Yeah, sure." She huffed, and a few minutes of tapping her plated fingers, and kicking the counter with her greaves, a mug the size of her torso was dropped right in front of her! By the courtesy of the goblins, a weird contraption, known as a "LSD (Liquid Sucking Device)", and a little umbrella was put in there. She began to drink, and everyone stopped what they were doing to watch.

When she finished, her belly was a little distended, but she managed to finish it all with a very unfeminine burp. Everyone roared, and the bartender couldn't help but give the gold back. "Well, miss, you sure brought the crowd to-a' roar." He said, before blinking. She was fast asleep. "Boy," he muttered, "ain't she f'r-a' headache."

Is there anything else you would like to add, ask, or otherwise clarify?:
Nope!

Hello Nikova! I'm Loxmardin and it's my pleasure to welcome you to Conquest of the Horde!

If you haven't already, I'd suggest that you double-check the rules and policies of the server on our very own CotH Wiki. If you have any questions, you should consult the Wiki and the available subforums which contain a fair bit of information ("Forum: Search" is your friend!) first but you are of course always welcome to contact a GM if you can't find what you're looking for, or ask on the forums!

Have fun, enjoy your stay and see you in-game!

Happy RPing!
