Everyone's a critic. - Karunzo's Feedback Thread.

So... Here we are again. I've been here for over a year now and I'd like to think I've improved both my writing skills and my characters. I, however, doubt myself and everything I do immensely. Therefore I'd like to know whether or not I am still on the right path. Did I take a wrong turn somewhere? Are there areas you think I can improve in? Please, let me know. Anything you wish to share with me, about me, is heartily welcomed. (That sounds narcistic, doesn't it?)

If you do not my characters, I happen to have this handy list of old ones and new ones in this thread. Perhaps you've heard of them, perhaps you've not. Please, do share your thoughts.

Old characters (Pre-restart)
Amerand - The Human Paladin, leader of the Lightsworn, fallen at the hands of a demon.
Varn - The Human Bounty Hunter, slaver for the Argus Wake.
Angrathul - Old Orc Warlock with a deathwish.
Volthorn - Human Noble, man of the people.
Gal'thar - Gambling Orc Warrior.
(Probably a bunch of others I have forgotten about)

Current Characters
Adelbrecht - The Human Strongman.
Christine - Lady Knight for the House of Blackstone
Karunzo - Plotting Undead.
Caedus - Old Paladin.

Mak'ti needs to see Angrathul more. 'nuff said.

Serious now! In my opinion, Angrathul (who's the only character of yours I've RP'd with) needs to be more... I'unno, assertive? Think about it. Your character was basically a noble of Orcs for years, and now he's all down. Although, it's your character, but I would like to see him be more assertive and agressive

Angrathul just wants to die with honour now that he's old.
It's exactly the fact that he used to be a respected member of orc society that got him down. He believes he has no place in the New Horde, so he'll just do them a favour and die.
I'unno he could be more assertive if he actually had a purpose. *WINK* *WINK*

Amerand! *Takes aim with the feedback tazer*

He's a nub! He fails! He's a evil paladin! nub nub nub nub nub.

... God, how I miss him. I think he was one of the first characters I've encountered on Saraya a LONG time ago. Had my eyes on him ever since, especially in the manipulative RP stages where you believed everything she said. Though, I messed that up at some point where the true nature showed, I even gave away her cover for you for "The Lightsworn"..

.. I still await it's ressurection from the flames.

Any-how, now to actually give feedback. I find Amerand a interesting character, personality-wise and history-wise he's everything a paladin should be, only getting more paranoid from the last time we RPed. A bit over-zealous, but definitely fun to be around. He brings interesting RPs, your tiny DM event was very fun despite the bits of chaos on my side, but yeah.

As for your writing, as fellow Dutchy myself, I think it's at appropriate levels if not above standards, I know mine is not that good as yours at times! /egoboost

Any-how.. I miss him. ;3 Fun RPs, fun character, needs to DM tiny events more, like the one at the mine. Maybe you could be less lazy and stage something on bigger scale? I know I'll be involved.

Much love!
Your ever favorite manipulative currently dead rogue.

Arise from the bottom of the pit you once came, oh fallen feedback thread. Arise and once more allow people to share their opinions! Arise... To eat cookies.

And lo, from the depths did spring a feedback thread, righteous and pure, and the world did grin.

But weep, for it could not last. A lone troll named Reese did come and troll the pure thread.

Right, so here's where I begin. You're awesome. <333333333333 Many hearts. Your ideas are first rate and I have enjoyed our storyline/guild idea debates ever so much. My one, and only one concern is a lot of the time these ideas never moved past brainstorming stage, due to naysaying. You have, in my opinion, a remarkably low self esteem for your awesome self and your awesome ideas... AWESOME. Yes, awesome. You're it, and I want to stress that. I enjoyed having Gregg be turned from the lovable Irishman into the hate-filled zealot he was for that brief period (a feat you made work through your AWESOMENESS. THERE'S THAT WORD AGAIN. ISN'T THAT WEIRD?!) And I enjoyed the schemes such a position led to, which you also contributed in. It's just you don't have faith in a lot of your ideas. In the future, I shall be more resolute with DEMANDING YOU DO AWESOME THINGS.

In conclusion, you monologue like a champ, evil like a champ, and fanatic like a champ. And you're awesome...

Mmk? Mmk.

Thanks for your thoughts, Reese. And yes, I am sort of working on that issue.

Much love.
