Purpose for the character/NPC: This Character is to develop more RP within Kalimdor, certainly Northen Kalimdor. He probably won't move too far out. I will use him to create events, and storylines with anyone who desires it, for example if someone's character wants to learn more about furbolgs for whatever reason. Marloo will be there for them.

Location the character/NPC will reside: Northen Kalimdor, but -might- adventure out to areas in attempt to "heal the lands". Note that it would only be for very very special occasions, and will stay in Kalimdor 99% of the time. After reading a bit more lore on Furbolgs, he may venture to Northrend... rarely.

By the way, the Pathfinder equivalent would probably be a Hunter. Shams are... well, Shams.

Yes, but Pathfinders usually fight with Ranged, if I remember correctly. Shamans can't use ranged.

Quite different. Pathfinders seem to use shaman skills and hunter skills. So either fits. Rogues and Mages share nothing, and it's even more complex than that. What we are talking about here is what class would fit a path finder, what you are saying is one class RPing another class which has no relevance. I could explain further, but then it would mean we are going off topic.

It's not, due to the fact he won't have the hunter abilities. Only shaman ones, he is a pathfiner, someone who finds a path. And keeps it for his people. In a spiritual and physical sense.
