Battle has broken out in a violent explosion of tensions near the peaks of Stonetalon! Glaivs have been thrown! Axes have been swung! Heads are rolling! After a hunting expedition went awry in Mirkfallon Lake, the indigenous Elves have retaliated in full force, propelling droves of sentinels, civilians, and so on onto the Horde outpost of Sunrock Retreat. Reports say that the outpost is currently holding its own, but is taking heavy losses against the Elven force. Barriers have been erected to ward off the Elven force, which as since staked out a siege upon the town.
The battle hasn't stopped there, though! Far up the mountain and isolated, the Horde so far are oblivious to the warfare raging at the mountain peak! The elves have turned their forces onto the second and last Horde post in the mountains, the troll village of Malaka'jin.
We at Kaja-News don't advocate violence that doesn't directly turn a profit for us, of course, but there are already military units forming up for action, and this sure does look like a show!

As our news team predicted last, the Alliance isn't stopping at Sun Rock! Within a day of the Alliance aggression against the Horde outpost of Sun Rock Retreat, Stonetalon Sentinel Commander Hythal Shadowglen has followed up with another staggering blow to the Horde- the besiegement of their Eastern outpost of Malaka'jin! At this point all connections to Stonetalon have been cut off from the Horde, but will the Horde notice in time to save these villages? Will they manage to push the Elven raiders back to the peak? Only time will tell!
We attempted to have a word with Misses Shadowglen, but she declined our request by throwing a knife at one of our crewman's notepads. Captain Therandes Forestcaller only had this to say;

Just hours ago the fighting in Stonetalon has flared up once more! After a missing caravan and scouting party were reported (Some carrying precious copies of KAJA NEWS - we wish our subscribers safety) the Horde have responded to the Night Elven incursion with an offensive of their own! Spearheaded out from Honor's Stand on the border between Stonetalon and the Barrens, Warlord Garin Elfcleaver has arrived on the scene with an entourage of his best fighting force!
We asked for a few words from the Warlord and, in between some back and forth discussion with his commander, gave us these words;
'The Night Elves here know this battle is already lost. They have a limited amount of troops from up in that mountain, and we have the Horde's finest soldiers and civilian recruits at our back. Stonetalon will belong to the Horde in a matter of weeks!'
Our reporter was shot with a glaive upon attempting to contact Warden Hythal Shadowglen for a response.
While we are always fair and balanced, we at KAJA NEWS may be leaning towards the good old red team.

Reports have been buzzing all about on the news in Stonetalon, and KAJA NEWS is your one stop shop for everything relating to the Alliance and Horde conflict!
We're seeing a huge turnaround in the sway of battle over the course of the last two days- the Hellforged Honorguard and other Horde battalions have set up camp at the foot of Stonetalon Mountain, and within mere days have surged through the stretch to Malaka'jin! We have sent reporters to the Troll village to speak with the overjoyed civilians upon their liberation from the Alliance siege, and they had this to say-
We'll be getting a translation ready for those not keen to the troll language.

- TURNING THE TIDE! -
Things are looking grim for the Horde, folks. Above the battlefield littered with the crushed corpses of Hellforged Grunts is a burning Horde flag. Just today, we witnessed the Stonetalon Sentinels tearing through the Hellforged Outpost outside of Malaka'jin- We sent in a team to survey the region, and it's nothing. It's just gone.
We've also received some reports about how all this came to be- Just starting this week Night Elven forces have set up blockades on all major Horde shipping routes, effectively shutting down the Northern trade line from Northrend. With a large regiment of the Hellforged currently stationed at Warsong Hold in the Tundra, things aren't looking good for the Horde!
We attempted to contact Commander Orzooth Ironclaw for an interview, only to hear that he has been captured by the Stonetalon Sentinels. We attempted to get an interview arranged, but our reporter was crushed by a rock man.

- MASSACRE AT STONETALON -
A bit of a later report today, but with good reason. Due to a recent battle at the Horde Base Camp our news zeppelin and its crew has crashed and burned to death, respectively.
We respect their service and wish their families well. Also no compensation pay.
In other news, from what our news group armed with a periscope could tell us, there has been a massacre at the Horde Base Camp! After military occupation of the base we received reports of the methodical execution of the entire camp inhabitants! There's still a bonfire raging outside the now Sentinel Base Camp filled with bodies.
We attempted to contact officials in Darnassus about these actions, but our zeppelin was shot down.
