So i resently made a character who would be a barbarian, but im not sure that hes lore friendly. I can't recall reading anything about barbarians in warcraft lore, and I was wondering if any of you have.

Anything about barbarians or the like would be very helpfull.

I don’t want to rule or conquer anyone."

There's a barbarian core class in the RPG books, but not really a group in lore that's made of purely barbarians. There are however quite a few barbarians in groups such as the orcish, troll, and Tauren tribes. The group in the alliance with the most barbarians would be the Wildhammer Tribe of dwarves. Any race can be a barbarian really, but say... A human, gnome, or blood elf would be rather unique as barbarians.

Gnolls apparently are a barbarian-centric race.
...
That's irrelevant, isn't it?

I don't see any reason why you couldn't play a barbarian, in all seriousness. As Beltharean said, there are race and class combinations highly unlikely to take up the mantle. That's the only thing to be cautious of, really.

Thanks a bunch, I was just hoping that there wasn't lore that said I can't be one, which would have ment I wasted some time.
