The Lightsworn is looking for leaders!
#1
You might've seen me on Amerand running around with the guild tag. The Lightsworn is an order of fanatic zealots I am planning to make, and I intend for it to last so I am preparing myself and the guild before I make a guild post about it. Starting a guild and maintaining it is'nt an easy task so I am looking for people that share my love for the lore behind the Light and the Scarlet Crusade and are willing to join me in this venture.

I am looking for people that are intrested in playing highly religious characters up to the point that every action they take, every word they speak is guided by their love for the Light and the greater good. These characters will have a position of power in the order ICly and the players will serve as officers OOCly, your creative input is higly appreciated.

The Divine Champion

The first position I am hoping to fill is that of the Divine Champion, pictured on the left. The Divine Champion is the leader of the Blades of Righteousness, or simply Blades for short. The Blades are the true warriors of the Order, these men and women have dedicated their lives to fighting evil. They wield their iconic two handed swords with great expertise and are able to quickly and efficiently cull the ranks of evil with them. The Blades practice their skills with the sword and the Light daily, never missing even one session of practice. Standing proudly at the head of the Blades is the Divine Champion. The Divine Champion leads the blades both in their practice sessions and in battle. The Divine Champion is the first to charge recklessly into the lines of the enemy, and the last to leave the battlefield. Believing his faith will protect him in battle, the Divine Champion sees no need to train his defensive skills and focuses completly on how he may best destroy the enemies of the Light. The Divine Champion is the strongest member of the Order physicly and he is the one that all evil-doers should fear most. Be weary of the day when the Divine Champion knocks on you door, because chances are slim he will want to talk.

The High Inquisitor

The second position I hope to fill is that of the High Inquisitor. The High Inquisitor is the leader of the Keepers of Faith, or simply the Keepers for short. Like the Keepers of Faith, it is the High Inquisitor's goal to ensure that the Faith of the members of the Order remain strong of faith and clear of corruption. But while the Keepers spend their time theorising about the Light and spreading It's glorious word, the High Inquisitor spends his watching the other members of the Order. The High Inquisitor is a man shrouded in mystery, only the Divine Champion and the Grand Crusader have ever gotten to see his face. The High Inquisitor spends most of his time hidden under the appearance of a more common member of the Order, a Blade, a Keeper, a Crusader or perhaps even Initiate. He is always vigilant, always on the lookout for any traces of corruption within the Order. Once he has found a member he finds lacking in Faith, he will don his fearsome costume. The sight of the High Inquisitor inspires a little fear in the heart of every member of the Order, for the methods he employs to ensure purity within the order are definatly not enjoyable. Be wary of the sight of the High Inquisitor and make sure not to miss even a singly daily prayer, or you may become the subject of his wrath.

The Player

If you like the idea of the characters I have posted above, or would like some more information, please feel free to leave a comment or send me a PM detailing why you are intrested in playing the Character and what you plan to bring to the table. I would like to note that I am always open for creative input from others and if you feel like some things could be improved on the concept or if you feel like a different concept might be more fitting for the role, do not hesistate to tell me.

I am truly trying to make something great of the Lightsworn but I need more dedicated players then myself to make it happen, so I am calling out for help. If you like Paladins, fanatics/zealots and preaching about the Light, you may be the person I am looking for.

I may be interested in making a Divine Champion, as I already had a wish to make a fanatic paladin myself. On top of it, might help with the storyline of another of my characters, Epsilon, which the character in mind would be related to (initial idea is for grandfather, but it can be excluded if requested). Would be interesting to have such a fanatic character with a Death Knight for granddaughter. I'm also open to another ideas~
