Feedback and suggestions for future event hosting

Hey. I meant to post this sooner, but over the weekend and this week so far I haven't been able to type up this thread like I wanted to. But now I can.

Last Saturday, I hosted a mini-event where I attempted to lead an Alliance and Horde side of the same story with two character RPed on each side (while dual-boxing). I also tried a new type of "fight", which is a "fight or plead" where a fight can end faster if the sides work for a truce. In general, I felt like the first part of the event was handled poorly--there was confusion, some players were left out (mostly those who were not aware of the story), and that the plead-or-fight situation proved to be a bad idea. However, by the time we got to harassing Urameil for Kapre's state, I think it got a little better.


I hope to have this thread up for those who did participate in "Something is afoul...". I know there were problems, and I hope to improve on event hosting in the future. I'll avoid DBing and possibly request other players in assisting in event hosting so I won't have to do it all by myself. And the plea-or-fight thing goes. Meh.
