Personal Horror Campaigns
#1
Oh, hello! Long time no see, how’ve you been, all that sort of thing. I’m here with a special announcement of sorts that I’ll put off until the end of this paragraph since I like to ramble a bit before getting to the point. I’ve been around for a while now, doing my thing, RPing, helping out around the forums, and hosting the occasional event. I haven’t been taking part in anywhere near as much of any of that as I have in the past however and I feel I should be doing a better job. That being said, I’d like to dedicate a bit more time to events. HORROR events specifically.

Stealing this idea from ze vunderful Clovis

Going About It

For now I’ll be offering to take players on in depth horror-oriented events throughout Azeroth. This can go one of two ways:
  • You have a general idea you want to stick with, and I’ll try to wrap my head around it to help you out, or...

  • You let me take the reigns.

I’ll be hosting this for 1-3 people, which may or may not include myself (at your discretion). I may permit more to join in extreme cases, but it’s -very- difficult to cater to every single person’s fears as soon as the amount of people begins to rise.

Try to give me several days in advance to work with, but I -will- do spur of the moment events if you ask me in game on any of my characters. Don’t expect me however, to end a current RP in order to do the event. This is why it’s best to reserve a spot. I’m usually on from around five PM to two AM server time, and am almost guaranteed to be on from 9 PM to 2 AM server time.

If you’re interested, fill this out and PM me:

PM Title: Event Request (Include here the amount of people involved. Either Personal, or 2-3 players. If more, include why in the post.)

Players: (This is where you will list the names of the Player Characters involved in the event)

Faction: ( Alliance, Horde, Neutral Organization )

What you want: (Pre-made idea, or original on my behalf)

Optional: (The three greatest fears of the players involved, if you'd like a certain theme but don't have a pre-made idea, fears of the characters involved, if you'd like to be in a certain zone, any other comments or questions)

DISCLAIMER:

By taking part in these events you have to subject your characters to the harsh realities of the world. The corroding effects the Old Gods have on your mind, the physical side effects of a Ghoul tearing it’s disarrayed formation of yellowed teeth through muscle and tendon, skin and bone. Your character will not die, ever. You will however have to accept the fact that this is a trust event in which -you- are trusting -me- with almost complete power over your characters.

If I send a dozen massive scarabs scrambling after you to eat your flesh, don’t play the hero and fight them off. Run into the empty building, or else your character -will- be permanently injured. This includes but is not limited to partial insanity, curses being put on your characters, disfigurement, the possible loss of limbs (I will warn you this is about to happen before hand), permanent scarring, and other similar things involved with the horrors of the void.

For this reason, some may wish to create temporary characters for these events. In which case, your character could be killed or -brutally- maimed if you so wish. This would include losing limbs, extremities, eyes, nose, ears, tongue, and the like.

Curses will normally last no longer than one week on any character unless you plan on partaking in a continuation of the event in which case it will be extended. One person who has taken part in several of my events has been throwing up scarabs and fragments of relics from the Old Gods for about two months, and it's slowly driving him to madness as he realizes the pieces all fit together into some sort of object. Fun stuff!
