Another Departure
#1
After thinking about it for a while I have decided that I am leaving, as many people on the server seem to be doing. I have been finding lately that I do not have the desire to roleplay any of my characters anymore, and it seems that I've developed a natural dislike for most of my creations or attempted concepts, which makes me a bit sad but also tells me that I need to go. I find that I've no real way to relate to my characters in WoW or pursue storylines, and as of late my main character Kyndri has just become someone I don't like, completely different from the way I would have liked her to develop and it was because of OOC foolishness.

I would also like to say that me leaving is in no way related to Bolshe's ban and disbanding of CoA because I had associated with his character or guild. I actually found out about it a few minutes before I even started writing this (and I had resolved to write it a few days ago). Personally I feel that perhaps in relating with the CoA I was focused more on the OOC relation than my characters'. I lost sight of the lore I tailored her for, who I wanted her to become and let my character slip away into something that is unrealistic in concept and at points felt pressured upon myself. I am planning on killing off Kyndri on the IC forums, just because as a character I've been trying to play for so many years, I feel that I owe it to myself to give her sort of a 'grand exit'.

My leaving is also in no part because of the server itself, because I love all the people here and the wonderful environment that was created for us. The GMs are all fantastic and the content and high standard that the server is held to is why I've hung on for so long. I've been off and on the server since before the restart, and despite my futile efforts, I think that the real issue is I am just bored of the Warcraft universe and the range of possibility it offers which I find restricting. I suppose playing it since I was 8 years old also might make me a little weary of it now as I had my 20th birthday a few days ago. It just isn't everything I want in a game anymore, and I've decided to move on.

Either way, school is beginning soon and I've found myself a new, fresh MMO to run around on, and perhaps I'll get outside a bit now LOL . Many of you probably don't even know who I am, but I just wanted to say all of this anyway. Either way I wish everyone on the server the best and wanted to thank you all for the great experiences I have had in my time here. I have been roleplaying since about fourth grade and this is by far one of the best places I've been privileged to do it in.

Goodbye! :D

A shame that you're leaving :(

Even though I heardly know you, I'm sure that you'll be missed.

Good luck!

Quite a shame to see you go.
I didn't get to roleplay with you much, but it's still a shame.

Actually, I don't think I ever roleplayed with you at all, but still. Good luck in all your future endeavors. We won't convert your room into an office yet.
