I'm currently typing this from the Oakland airport during my layover while I'm waiting for my flight to Seattle.
I'll be out of town from today until the 2nd while I'm attending PAX (the Penny Arcade eXpo), though I'll probably still be visiting the forums and server a little bit while I'm taking a break, so to speak.

Who flies to Seattle?! Its only a sixteen hour drive from oakland!
I live about 20-30 minutes away from the place, so if I could go I would, the expo sounds awesome.

At first I wasn't too jealous about you going to PAX. But now that I've learned that there are tons, and I mean TONS of Fallout 3 exclusive stuff at that con......raaaaaaaaaaargggrraaggghhhh!!!!

Off topic: You couldn't get close to the Fallout booth without a big stick, Krent. It was very scary, especially for a slightly-built short chick. Ask Kret, I was either hiding behind him or running ahead desperately trying to reach the next unoccupied area.

doooooooood, it's fallout 3! I would've gone in there with my custom-made power armor and super sledge! Please tell me one of ya got your hands on a playable demo....I'm very anxious about this game. I loved Fallout 1 & 2, and I'm both extremely happy but mildly skeptical over how Bethesda is making this game. While I enjoyed Oblivion, it wasn't that great of a game without the added ability of custom-made mods that the community put forward. If Fallout 3 ends up being Oblivion with guns, I think I'll die on the inside.

PS: I'll totally buy the Vault-Dwellers Survival Guide hand book thingy if I lose the bids I have on e-bay
