Waxenchief's Introduction.
#1
First and foremost: Tell us about yourself, as a player: As a player I am very kind I respect thoes that I like -and- dislike I am rarely rude and I am keen to meet other players and I tend to get along well with thoes that get along well with myself.

What country do you come from? What is your primary language?: I come from Australia (The world down under) I am full bread Australian so I speak english and I have no other secondary language.

How did you get into Warcraft?: I got into Warcraft probably the same way everyone else did I bought it from the shop and installed in on my computer.

What made you seek our server over others? (Or how did you find us?): I have been looking for an RP private server for a year now and have never found the right one a with friendly community and good RPers I found this server over google search and I am keen to get inside meet you all.

What kinds of roleplay do you enjoy?: I enjoy all kinds of roleplay when I roleplay I tend to roleplay with detail unless not able I am not picky with my roleplay though I do tend to have a no God-Moding or Meta-Gaming additude which is very strict... I do also have a tendency to drift away from roleplay if the other players arent taking it seriously.

What is your favorite race/class? Why?: My favorite horde class is the Orc because I am inlove with thrall and I do enjoy a bit of the history and lore though I havent had time to study it.

My favorite character for Alliance is Human because I am usually an RPer that tends to look for Medieval type roleplay that focuses on humans E.G LOTRO and my favorite class is mage for reasons unkown... I just enjoy to play them.

What are your expectations of this server?: I expect this server to be filled with friendly fun and mature players that hopefully I can play with, without any troubles.

Out of all of our rules and regulations listed on our server, which appeals to you the most?: Non of them really appeal to me the most, you have done a good job in listing your rules and regulations and hopefully that keeps your server safe and clean, and that is all I expect.

Lastly, tell us a story! It can be short, it can be long; but most importantly, we want to see your work in action. Go!: This is a part of a story that a friend of mine made with me so she can take half the credit heh ^_^

Silence, complete and utter silence filled the room. At least this room. Gently setting the embroidery she was working on down on her lap Bronwen glanced down the hall towards where her father sat behind his heavy oak desk, pen and parchment in hand. Even from here he noticed her look, exchanging gazes for a moment before nodding at her. An indication to return to her work. Pressing her lips together she forced the sigh she longed to escape back and gave a small nod of her own head lifting the embroidery up again carefully working the needle a stitch at a time.

Like wise in the room with her her two younger sisters sat watching her work in between struggling with their own embroidery. Little Lilianna, would stretch her little neck as far as it could go to try and catch a glimpse of her and each time Bronwen glanced over at her and caught her doing it, her sister would duck her head, quickly, and no doubt horribly, sew in the next couple of stitches in rapid succession. Each time she did that, she'd forget to mind her posture, until gazing back in this Bronwen direction which forced her little sister to squirm back to the edge of her chair, keep her legs tucked back, one ankle behind the other before her back would spring to a rigid and straight position.

It was almost all to much to bare in silence, but she kept her laughter in side, smiling to herself as she continued her own work. “Sister, can you come check on what I've accomplised so far?” Alimitharia asked across the room from her seat near the window. Smiling warmly at her, Bronwen gently set her work aside, making sure to stick the needle where no one would accidently prick themselves before raising from her seat crossing the room in a rustling of her skirts to check her sisters work.

Though walking up by the window the appearance of a dirt cloud boiling down the road towards Thornrow stopped her. “Someone's coming up the road.” She'd say loud enough for her two sisters to hear, Alimitharia quickly placed her own work aside standing to peer out the window as well, and little Lilianna, came rushing over not even bothering to put down her own work. “Father, someone is riding up the road.” She'd repeat loud enough so her voice would reach her father at the end of the hall.

Glancing up from another piece of parchment her father would look at her before shaking his head. “No doubt your brother, finally returned. They'll be here soon enough, and you three hovering by the window will do nothing to hasten their arrival.” , he'd shot back in response before returning to his parchments.

“Father is right, we would do best to keep ourselves occupied until they arrive.” She'd give her two sisters a mischievous grin. “After all, it wouldn't do for Roiden to think we stand here hovering in the window waiting on him, as if we have nothing better to do.” Gently she'd reach over tucking a wild lock of hair that had wiggled out of Lilana's braid back behind her ear. “He has a big enough head with out us making him think we fret over him.” Her sister's would smile widely at her words nodding in agreement. Picking up Alimitharia's embroidery she'd look over it.

“Very good sister, now lets see if you can help Lilianna with hers over there.” She'd hand the embroidery over before pointing at a small couch, directing the girls away from the window. Once they were settled, Alimitharia trying to patiently show Lilianna what to do, Bronwen returned to her previous seat claiming her own work before moving over to take the chair Alimitharia had been using earlier, her eyes watching the boiling dust cloud expand and draw nearer as she paid little attention to her work, only being sure to look busy in case her father looked this way.

Slowly and only half minding what she was doing, she waited tracking the approaching form ride up into Thornrow hall, straining her ears to hear him enter the hall from the stables, and wait for him to make his way up here. Though instead she heard a door slam back, foot falls pounding down the hall before another crack as the door to the room they were sitting in flew open making them all jump, as the gentleman raced to her father, his coat was dusty and sweat clung to his face as if he had flew here as quickly as his horse could run. Setting her embroidery down, she stood making her way towards her father's study.

The man's words were low, and hastily spit out. A report from Roiden no doubt, unfavorable news from his quick stutters and the way he fiddled with his fingers behind his back, his hands grasping at one another. Quickening her pace to catch as much of the report as possible the man's words became clear enough for her to make out the words that had made her father look so grim. “-your son is dead-” Its all she heard, all she needed to hear, instead she grasped at the wall her fingers jamming into the paneling as she stumbled, her head spinning as it rejected what she heard. But her father forced the man to repeat the words once more, leaving her slumped against the wall, silently mouthing “no, no no”, shaking her head as if to rid herself of what she had no doubt heard.

Is there anything else you would like to add, ask, or otherwise clarify?:

No... No that would be all.

Welcome Waxenchief!

If you haven't done so yet, please head on over to the Wiki to take a look at the rules, see our guidelines for making a character and maybe even read a few of the approved character profiles while you're there!

My sincerest apologies for the long wait, but your case happened to be a rather peculiar one. Because you didn't completely write the story yourself, we'd like to see one of your own works. As such, I am afraid this story doesn't count for your gruntship application. Before you apply, please write us another story in the In-character portion of the forums.

The story was however an enjoyable read.

If you have any questions, do no hesistate to ask them on the forums or simply send a PM to me, other forum helpers or the GM team!

I hope you will enjoy your time here on the server!
