Red Vanguard



''Brothers and sisters of the Horde.

The recent war has struck a great blow against our forces and we need to take immediate act to stop any other major conflicts. That is why I came up with the following idea...''

The Red Vanguard is a Horde military guild that is completely made out of conscripts. Their main goal is to secure Horde dominance in Northrend but when needed elsewhere they will act. The Vanguard was built by Commander Kotorr Hellaxe as a solution to the reduced Horde forces after the fall of the Lich King. The Vanguard is currently allied with the Hand of Sylvanas and on friendly relations with Blackscar.

The Vanguard have an complex system of ranks and purposes, which i will explain now':
Ranks

Grunt = Basic soldier rank, most of us are of this rank.

Champion = These are the real commanding officers among the Vanguard. They also train our grunts

Hell's Will = These are the greatest of the Vanguards soldiers, which we only have a few. Each of these command an entire regiment.

Commander = The leader of the Vanguard, the Champions are the instruments of the Commanders will.


Regiments

The Vanguard

The Vanguard are the basic frontline warriors and guards set into remote posts aswell as bigger fortresses. They also contain "heavy cavalry".

The Rangers

The name says it all. The Rangers are our infiltrators and intelligence in warfare, spying on enemies and working as couriers in sending reports. They also form our ranged support fire regiment and "light cavalry"

The Skyguard

Our skies are secured by the wind riders flewn by the Skyguard. These elite warriors are greatly capable in fighting in motion.

The Seers

The Seers regiment are the shamans, priests and mages of the Vanguard, healing and destroying our opponents at will.

- The Dark Hand is an unnofficial part of the Seers regiment which consists of Warlocks. They pry and see enemy movements before us, they summon powerful demons to aid us and wreak havoc to our enemies. Under the direct watchful eyes of the Commander.


Rules

IC:

You must...

1. Honor your superiors and fellow warriors always.

2. Never betray the Horde!

3. Have nothing to do with the Scourge.

4. Follow every command you are given.


OOC:

1. No excessive bad language, please.

2. Server rules!

3. The Vanguard is currently unavailable to Death Knights and Forsaken becouse of their relation to the Scourge. Also the blood elves are watched carefully becouse of their deep connection to fel.

4. Use correct language and grammar as much as possible (Exception are the trolls for they have an understandable accent).

5. Have fun!


The Vanguard are mostly seen in Warsong Hold or Orgrimmar. (Thrallmar)

Not a bump, just letting you know that the Vanguard is now with an alliance to the Hand of Sylvanas (Yet to be RPd though). Still no trust to forsaken in general.

Just posting here to say this guild is awesome, though right now we only have Orcish goodness. Hopefully, other races will join us in time! The regiments also offer a lot of variety within the guild itself, and the upcoming event promises to be great. ;)

Trimmed the regiments a bit:

Sky Darkeners and Scouts have been mixed to the Rangers and the Dark Hand joined to the Stormcallers.

Why?

Becouse if we have a ton of different regiments all of them will have 1-2 members. Thats not exactly a regiment, right?

Oi! News for all Vanguard members! We took the liberty to make a channel called "VanguardAlts". It's to keep track of our members and make them easily accessible even without being on the character in the guild (thusly; Alts).

Everyone's adviced to join. ^^

In other news, the guild event's progress is good, and we hope we'll be able to pull it off as soon as possible. :D

Gok'tar leads the Rangers. The Vanguard is led by Kotorr. Hope that clears it up. :D
