The Mystery of the Western Cookery
#1
(OOC)

I guess the Bazaar was the wrong spot to put this; Hope you don't mind if I move this to the spot it might better fit in. (Please continue.)

So I'm just sitting around doing forums stuff since my playability of the server is in the floor.

But as I've mentioned in several posts (Forgive me for my nubbish moping), I'd like to keep my RP alive in some way. As such, I am forming a Forum-Event.

'The Mystery of the Western Cookery'. This Forum-Event can be accessed by anyone (With Alliance characters only, sadly), and the end of the tale will be influenced by who comes and what happens.

Being a Forum-Event, this isn't truly in-game. You can, of course, say you ICly were a part of this, but since I have no point with which to access the server from, I can't put it in-game, so it's solely forums.

Anyhow, the basics of this event are as follows;

There is no HP and there are no roll-battles. This is purely trust-fights. But if the event progresses as planned, fights will not be necessary. Event goings will be as follows; I will describe the environment, the people within it, and your posts will determine (Please tell me what/which character(s) you have speaking/interacting at the current time) the stories progression.

For some reason I am currently mentally unable to explain anything past that... But anywho, you will post your interactions with characters, I will post in turn, and we'll have a small event going. Remember to describe your character, their armor, weapon, and other miscellaneous things I might need to know.

I do hope people find enjoyment in this event, and I wish you good luck in this fun little adventure!

You push the sturdy, reinforced wooden door of this Stormwind restaurant open. Your first expectation is to find what you came for; Whether it be shelter, food, drink, or just entertainment. And indeed you might find it. The Restaurant was for the most part in the shape of a giant 'L', the door being at the bottom left of what would be the letter.

Directly to your left is a simple bar about three feet of height, with eight stools on your side, a bar-door at the very end of it as it extends from the wall for several meters. Above it are several shelves decorated with jars, glasses, and kegs. Below the counter, who could know? Out of the corner of your eye you can see that near to the end of the wall is a square archway that leads to a descending staircase. The smell of cooking food comes from the staircase, this is obviously the kitchen.

To your right, in the outward spring of the restaurant lays one long table with ten chairs surrounding it. The walls all around the restaurant are decorated with paintings of far-off, beautiful lands, as well as shelves bearing kegs, glasses, mugs, and several bookshelves. The rest of the open floor between the bar and the long table, and all the way to the other end of the restaurant, was full of small square tables with two to four chairs each. There were around seven of these small square tables in total.

You discontinue observing your environment and focus on the people. Behind the bar counter is a human man of dark skin, with long, black, braided hair reaching to his shoulders. His clothing was a simple black suit, with black gloves over his hands and a white tuxedo shirt and black tie in the V-split of the suit's upper area. He is busy cleaning a glass. This is obviously the barkeep, or perhaps even the restaurant manager. Directly behind the man's head on the wall are a number of things; One of which is a large plaque that reads 'Salmo West (underneath, on the plaque) Proprietor (underneath, on the plaque) Welcome to the Western Cookery (underneath, on the plaque) Home of the Salmo Slammer', while under it are several smaller plaques, mostly trophies... Some of these being 'First Shot in Business (Having a spent shotgun shell pinned to the plaque underneath the inscription)', and 'First Mug Thrown (Having a half-smashed mug pinned underneath the inscription)', and other minuscule sort of devices.

You look to your right at the long table and spot a human woman in a green dress currently bent over cleaning the table. Seeing as to the pile of dirty dishes at one end of the table, a party was just there recently, it seems. When you can catch a sight of her face, the woman is of fair skin and blonde hair up in a ponytail, and her face is of fair appearance. Her belly is mildly swelled.

You look to your left at the collection of small tables. You spot two tables with dirty dishes on them, and two occupied tables. One of them, a two-seat table, has a human man with a large brown hood and cloak casting a shadow over his face. A cigar extends from out of the hood, where his mouth would be. The other table is a four-seat table with a curious party of people; A Female Dwarf clad in chainmail, a male Gnome in mechanical gear, a female Night Elf clad in dark purple leather, and a Male Draenei in full platemail with no helmet. All four of them chuckle and drink together in their little corner of business.

Out of the archway you can hear the clinking of dishes, if a skilled dish-washer you were, you could tell it had to do with washing dishes. The restaurant overall had a fair aroma of sweet foods, both salted meat and fragrant fruits.

The Man behind the Bar looks up and peers at you. "Hello there!" He says. "The name's Salmo West, Proprietor." He gives a small bow. "How can I help you?"
