First and foremost: Tell us about yourself, as a player:
Well I've been into roleplaying for some time now, going on about 4-5 years I'd say. Probably the biggest appeal that any genre of gaming has for me is immersion, regardless of graphics or gameplay. I suppose I'd class myself as a heavy roleplayer with a casual amount of time to spare.
What country do you come from? What is your primary language?:
Originally Irish, though I've been living in Australia for two years now. Primary language is English.
How did you get into Warcraft?:
I spotted the Frozen Throne expansion for WC3 in a shop and thought it looked awesome, so I did some research and played WC3 through. A couple of years later WoW came out and I was pretty hooked, but wasn't entirely satisfied with the RP experience.
What made you seek our server over others? (Or how did you find us?):
To be honest I didn't 'seek' this one per say. I did some research about decent private RP servers and CoTH and Prologue kept getting mentioned. I've had a look at both and Prologue seems a little too tech-focused for my liking. Hate to bring it up in case there's some rivalry there, but I prefer to give an honest answer
What kinds of roleplay do you enjoy?:
I really enjoy good military RP, complete with training and drilling. A little specific, I know, but it's rare to find. On a more general scale, I suppose any community that takes its RP seriously, but is open to having OOC fun too.
What is your favorite race/class? Why?:
Race: It'd have to be Trolls. I think they're one of the most under-roleplayed classes that have a huge amount of lore at their disposal.
Class: I'd probably say rogue, because that's what I'm used to playing. That said, for RP I think Warrior is always a good choice. It's specific enough to fit into certain roles while being open enough to roleplay in a large number of situations.
What are your expectations of this server?:
I suppose to offer a casual environment for me to RP in. I work on a 2/1 roster (i.e. I work for two weeks, and then get a week off), so I can't commit to long storylines or projects, but I do take my RP seriously when I have the time.
Out of all of our rules and regulations listed on our server, which appeals to you the most?:
Humility. A lot of RPers I've seen want the whole world to be a story about them. In my opinion, if they want that kind of experience they should play some Elder Scrolls. Roleplaying servers are dynamic worlds full of different characters with different stories to tell. It'd be nice to play with more people who try to fit their character into the world, rather than forcing the world to fit their character.
Lastly, tell us a story! It can be short, it can be long; but most importantly, we want to see your work in action. Go!:
