Moonfang's Introduction
#1
First and foremost: Tell us about yourself, as a player:
I am friendly, and try my best to avoid drama. I try to find ways to deal with RP situations rather than wimping out on them, and I have a penchant for passionate characters.

What country do you come from? What is your primary language?:
America. English, with a smattering of telepathy.

How did you get into Warcraft?:
I like to write, and magic and fantasy have a large pull for me. My friend recommended it to me, and I liked it.

What made you seek our server over others? (Or how did you find us?):
I found you through Google! Typed in wow private rp servers and there you were. The reason I even was looking was because Blizz lacks both quantity and quality.

What kinds of roleplay do you enjoy?:
I enjoy my extremes: Heroic good and soul-devouring evil. In real life I prefer to hold myself with integrity and enjoy it, so naturally I like moral role play. Also being evil is very fun. I find it to be a more creative outlet, honestly.

What is your favorite race/class? Why?:
I like playing humans, blood elves, and forsaken. My favorite classes are the rogue and warlock. I like a darker sort of roleplaying; either something more subtle and skilled as the rogue or something with a more powerful and forbidden edge.

What are your expectations of this server?:
I am hoping that the roleplay here is good, and that I find a good outlet for all my ideas. It was hard to find good interaction on Blizz.

Out of all of our rules and regulations listed on our server, which appeals to you the most?:
I admire this screening process you have. I imagine it really helps keep the server up to par!

Lastly, tell us a story! It can be short, it can be long; but most importantly, we want to see your work in action. Go!:

A howl rang through the trees, as the midnight air blew chill into the bones of those still about the town square. They all looked around in concern, a few of them showing open fear.

It stank.

A shingle nearly came loose under Diane’s hand, and she quickly shifted her weight to remain quiet. “blasted fools,” she whispered under her breath in spite. She was glade to be considered feared among them.
Diane quickly and silently turned to a slight noise behind her. She relaxed as she saw it was her brother. Of sorts.
“How fares the pack?” Rigsield whispered in a raspy voice. His fur blew gently in the wind, and again Diane found herself envious of its dark color. She had a brownish coat, herself.
“Well enough. I worry of Roth though, he seemed… overly eager. This morning.” She looked across the square at the blacksmith, where she knew the young wolf was waiting. Out of sight, as expected.
Rigsield followed her gaze, and then let out a mental sigh as his eyes narrowed. “You let him take the eastern position? I thought Aevans was assigned there!” He obviously agreed with Diane’s worries. Roth had developed a tendency towards bloodlust. “If he can’t control himself, he could jepordi-“
“I’m aware of the situation, Rigsield.” Diane said with a hard authority in her voice. She paused for a moment, and shifted carefully to face Rigsield. “This is an important night for all of us. I promise you we can do this.” She meet his gaze, in a human way, so that he did not look away. After a moment, he nodded and made a noise of thanks.

Just then another of their pack approached, having just climbed up the rear of the building. “Matron!” he urgently whispered, “The general knows of our plans! He’s set up a tra-“
“WORGEN!!! HEAR ME!!” A loud and commanding voice rang throughout the town. Diane cursed and scampered over to the edge, peering over while remaining hidden. “I know you are out there, lurking in the shadows!! By decree of the power I command, return to your warrens, your caves, and never return! The people of Greyshire will have no more of you savage and mindless kind! BEGONE, or fair as your leaders have!” The general reached to the bag hanging from his side, and pulled out the bloody head of a greyed worgen.

Howls of rage went up surrounding the square. A small smile cut its way across the general’s face.

Diane realized with horror that the general was goading the pack into a reckless assault, and she yelled out commands to hold positions. “Matron! Roth!” said Rigsield, and pointed at the blacksmith. It was too late, the young upstart was launching himself at the general, and there was no way to stop him.
Diane let out a roar of frustration and shouted, “ATTACK!!!” The general’s men readied themselves, as a few dozen feral beasts leaped from the building tops and the edges of the forest. Now was the time for Retribution. Now was the time for Vengeance.

Fang and Claw met Steel and Shield, and the town square was bathed in blood.

Is there anything else you would like to add, ask, or otherwise clarify?:
Well I see that you do not support Cata, and I love being Worgen. I was just wondering if there was any talk of advancing the server. Thank you!

Hello Moonfang, welcome to CotH.

If you haven't done so yet, it's worth glancing over our Wiki to take a look at the rules, see our guidelines for making a character and perhaps even look over a few approved profiles while you're there.

Thank you for the story! There is talk of moving to Cata, but it's technical difficulties which stand in our way.

We hope you enjoy your time here. Feel free to PM me if you have any further queries, and I'll do my best to answer.
