I will not be able to host the evening event at all tonight (Goblin Hot Potato). I'm at work right now, and quite frankly, I'm having a difficult time keeping a clear head while with my students. I'm not feeling well at all.
So in case Bezington won't make it, here are the rules:
1.) Add all the participants together. Everyone is to /roll #, # being the total number of participants.
2.) Each participant is designated a number as per the order of how they appear in the raid group.
3.) The timer is set at 5 minutes for every round. The host/DM is responsible for keeping track of the time (use
www.onlineclock.net 's Online Timer as your tool)
4.) Whoever has the bomb (shaped like a heart, the size of a basketball) has to /roll #, and the person with the designated # has to catch it.
5.) If the participant rolls his or her own number, he/she's automatically out.
6.) DM has to re-designate the numbers for every out. If the raid starts out large, re-designate every 2 rounds and just skip the number of the losing participant.
7.) The winner (gets 2 G and a crate full of confetti grenades and a star-shaped medallion) is the last participant standing.
When the bomb does explode, your character will be covered with sugar glue and confetti. The concession stand has complimentary towels for you to clean yourselves off with.
Sounds confusing? Here's a sample scenario:
Total participants: 5
Mahen is 1
Tibalan is 2
Kantado is 3
Kapre is 4
Mana is 5
Everyone is to /roll 5
Kapre rolls 3 (1-5) (he throws it to Kenny)
Kantado rolls 4 (1-5) (he throws it to Kapre)
Kapre rolls 1 (1-5) (he throws it to Mahen)
Mahen rolls 1 (1-5) (bomb automatically explodes (or he drops the bomb and it explodes on him) and he's covered with sugar glue and confetti. He's out)
Numbers are redesignated:
Tibalan is 1
Kantado is 2
Kapre is 3
Mana is 4
Everyone is to /roll 4
Alternately, time runs out (5:00), and whoever has the bomb by the time the buzzer rings is out.
Rinse and repeat.
I am very sorry I have to bail like this, but I am really not feeling well. Hopefully I can host either day or evening event tomorrow.
IC NOTES: Kapre has hired Gadgetzan Bruisers to stand guard of the festival grounds, and Dr. Dino is the designated (temporary) medical staff member with assistants (other goblins). If there is another fight going on, you'll be kicked out. If anyone is injured, they are to be escorted to the lodging tents right of the front steps.
Have fun!
