Introduction
#1
First and foremost: Tell us about yourself, as a player:
I've picked up WoW about 2 months after world-wide release, but I was a big fan of fantasy even before that. I got into WoW role-playing about 3 or 4 years ago, I can't exactly remember.

What country do you come from? What is your primary language?:
I'm from Poland, and my primary language is polish, but I can speak fluent English without a problem, and a little Spanish (Can't say I'm the best at it though...)

How did you get into Warcraft?:
As I already mentioned above, I like fantasy, so I picked up Warcraft II together with tides of war.

What made you seek our server over others? (Or how did you find us?):
I took a break from role-playing, and when I wanted to get back I found that one of my favorite servers, Prologue WoW, is down for a huge maintenance that will probably take months, so instead of waiting I just decided to look for another server, and my friend recommended this place to me.

What kinds of roleplay do you enjoy?:
I really enjoy RP that lets me cater to needs of others, medics, shamans and advisors for example.

What is your favorite race/class? Why?:
Tauren/Shaman. Whenever it's possible I tend to roll this combo. I really like how culturally rich Taurens are, and also the fact that they tend to be peaceful yet are very good fighters. I think the question above pretty much answers why do I like to play shamans. I also do fairly well as a Shaman in PvP, if that matters.

What are your expectations of this server?:
Possibilities of RP, and most importantly good and active community. I find that pretty much every RP server that's not dead has playerbase that just sits around in some major city waiting for an event organized by the GM's.

Out of all of our rules and regulations listed on our server, which appeals to you the most?:
Maturity. Too often have I tried to disarm a conflict with words only to get killed few seconds later.

Lastly, tell us a story! It can be short, it can be long; but most importantly, we want to see your work in action. Go!:
This one is actually from Prologue WoW, i think it's interesting enough to be a story.

A somewhat rich, scrooge-level greedy, human trader, Thobias, was sitting around in a Ratchet inn, playing around with his money, like he always does whenever he gets bored. It was an extremely lazy day, nothing was really happening around the world, bandits were hiding somewhere away from the trade routes, and worst of all, the trade was going really slow. Our story could end here, with the rest of the day passing uneventful, if not for the strange looking man, that finally approached Thobias. Now, he might not be the brightest one, but he sure as hell knows that grim-looking individuals in a place like this aren't usually here just to talk about weather. He took a sit next to him and began his dialogue:
-I take it you're one of the traders here?
Thobias took a sip of his drink, while running his eyes down on the man. On first glance he was probably in his late thirties, not a year older. Besides the dark cape he was wearing dark-purple robes and had a sword residing next to his belt. After a little moment of awkward silence he finally decided to break the ice:
-So what if I am?
The man chuckled before speaking further:
-You see, I believe I might have an interesting offer for you.
The gears in Thobias's mind instantly began to move. Most of the time interesting offer meant money. More money then usual. With curiosity in his voice he asked:
-Huh? And what might that be.
-Imagine safe trade routes, high status quo among the richest merchants, lots of money, almost everything a trader of your kind could imagine.
-Hey hey hey, hold it there. I think this all sounds way too good to be true.
-You think so? Well then how about we leave this inn for now, and I'll tell you all the important details?
-Alright then, I see no harm in this.
The man proceeded to talk about how him and his acquaintances could make everything he mentioned a reality. Needless to say that int he big picture this all sounded like some kind of a criminal group. And a big one on top of that. Thobias finally came to his mind and decided that he will give it a trial run. The man, who didn't even reveal his name, was more then overjoyed. He handed over a silver ring to Thobias and quickly bid him farewell, disappearing into the shadows.

Thobias then proceeded to travel to Stormwind city were he sold the ring for a large sum of money, reported the man to the authorities and got even more money for bringing criminals to justice.

Is there anything else you would like to add, ask, or otherwise clarify?:
No, I don't think so.

Hello JayJayJokerVlog! My name is Loxmardin, and it's my pleasure to welcome you to Conquest of the Horde!

A Prologue player? :) Welcome, welcome!

If you haven't already, it couldn't hurt to double check the rules and policies on our very own Wiki-page. If you have any questions, feel free to PM a GM on the forums or search the FAQs, as well as the various guides and helpful topics you'll find about the forums.

Also be sure to /join Chat and /join Barrens once you enter the game for the first time! (On all your characters, preferrably). The former for general communication server-wide, and the second for random silliness!

That said, welcome again! Have fun, enjoy your stay, and merry RPing!

Love,
Loxmardin
