For ages the Crusaders fought. Brother against brother, stranger against stranger, a mass of two armies met head-on in a fierce clash. On one side lay the assaulting Argent Crusaders spearheaded by none other than the Highlord himself, Tirion Fordring. And on the other was the Scarlet Crusaders led by their council of commanding officers. With swords in-hand and plate upon their backs, each force drove into one another with zealotry in their gaze.
The ensuing battle ran on for hours on end, one side pushing upon the other, though neither would come to buckle and fall. Eventually a final wave of reinforcements arrived, a ragtag of warriors tat fought only part-time for the Crusade, yet even then it was enough to tip the scales. The fresh blood entered the field with vigor, tearing down to worn soldiers until nothing stood in their way. They made their way unto the keep, entered the secretive sanctuary, and drove the final commander to surrender.
Hearthglen was liberated, once more in the hands of its rightful lord.
There are a number of places to be visited within the city, the main points being:
A mage tower, holding within it a massive library of knowledge.
The town hall where a player-run council will hopefully soon preside.
Beside the active lumbermill would be the Argent’s inn, which is stocked with all sorts of beer, food, and rooms to stay in.
There’s a myriad of empty houses available for anyone that wants to use as a residence.
Mardenholde, the main keep of Hearthglen, which contains a bookcase entrance to the massive sanctuary that sprawls beneath it.
The Sanctuary itself is a massive structure that contains within it a few chapels, training grounds, formal halls, meeting places, and a main hall of worship.
