Forms and Applications

This thread holds the forms and applications TLE uses for their clientele. For first-time profilers, you are to interview the client asking the questions as provided in the form. The profile's contents are to be filled out as followed:

Spoiler:

Interviewer: Your character's name so the Boss can identify who took the profile.

Profile Type: How the profile is received. First Person are for profiles that involved an RPed interview with the intended client while Third Person are profiles that are interviewed with a person representing the intended client (e.g., the client's father, friend, etc)

Player: If you're not a GM, ask the character's player OOC. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT, as profile statuses and matches are done via PMs and the forums before they carry out IC.

Name: Please get full names and make an OOC note so I can include the full name in the Clientele list. Otherwise, this should be coded using the post number of the appropriate category (e.g., MsF3, which means "Male seeking Female #3). The profile itself should never provide the client's name IC for confidentiality's sake.

Race: Duh

Gender: Duh x 2

Short description: Describe what your character sees and observes of the client the best he/she can, either based on past experiences or what is noticed at the time of the interview. If you're unsure of how to fill this out, you can ask the clients to describe themselves to describe how they view themselves. I recommend you do both.

History: It is very important that this is relatively brief--try to avoid having the client boast of their victories in war, how accomplished they are in the arcane, etc. The History should focus on family history, where they come from, where they explored or what war they fought in, and so forth... as relevant to attaining a romantic match. If the player character goes off in a tangent that is worthy of a 2-hour long biopic, cut them short. It is recommended that when you ask for the client's history, encourage a basic summary and that the client can be free to leave out private information.

Interests and Hobbies: Self explanatory. Ask for skills in fields as well. This is where you can allow the client to boast.

Gender preference: Male, female, or both. Please answer this by gender sought, not orientation

Racial preference: Unless marriage and child-bearing/rearing is provided as a goal up front, assume the client is open to others outside their race and faction.

Wanted in a partner: Traits sought out as most important in a partner. Details are good, but vagueness encourages more unofficial matches to be found before a confirmed match can be made.

Unwanted in a partner: Traits unwanted. Considered otherwise unimportant if the traits are due to personality and up to the partner to iron out themselves (e.g., it's okay to pair someone who is admittedly lazy to someone

Term: Ask for Short or Long. If the client is indecisive, note that too. It is not recommended to pair long-term seekers (usually hoping for marriage) with short terms (unless the client is willing to extend the relationship to longer term).

Additional Notes: Other information that doesn't fit to the above is to be put here as well as any snark your character may share. It is very important to put delicate information (such as past break-ups or lovers' deaths) here, as well as personal recommendations.

For third-person interviews and information (ie, getting a profile for someone else who isn't yourself). REMEMBER to add the name of the individual you interviewed with and include the relation.
