The Ironbranch Outrunners

The Ironbranch Outrunners

The Ironbranch Outrunners are an off shoot of the Sentinels, not directly affiliated with them in any way. They do, however, use many practices of the Sentinels as their own.

They are a Night Elf only guild. They are very traditional in their customs, and thus highly sectored, xenophobic and paranoid in their general practices.

The aim of the Guild is primarily to defend Ashenvale. This is a very vague goal, however, and can be achieved in many ways. They could be classed as a more extreme, fanatical off shoot, not afraid to protect the forest in any way that they feel is required.

Some say offense is the best defense.

Although the Guild is likely to be primarily female, Males are accepted in to the Guild as long as they are Druids.

Perhaps the main difference between this and the Sentinels is the willingness to bend the laws of honour and taste to achieve what they want. Although discipline is second to none within the Guild, the so called 'laws of the land' are easily bent or broken if needed.

This is a big commitment. It's not a day job or an activity, it is your new life. You will be surrounded 24/7 by your fellow Outrunners and must adjust accordingly.

Ranks of the Guild

Alpha – The individual who holds the most official power within the Guild. She (Lillisaea) controls the operations and movements, as well as off-duty preparations, duties and training of the members. Has the final word in disputes or decisions.

Priestess – The primary advisor to the LEADER. Has the most official power besides the LEADER. Holds militiary power and duties, required to organize militiary movement and campaigns. (Will probably be a Priestess of the Moon if possible.)

Vanguard– Outrunner who has gained respect through combat, discipline and efficiency to be promoted, has unofficial authority over Outrunners. Those with this role will likely have proven themselves through a single great act, or multiple impressive feats.

Outrunner – The basic troop of the Guild, the default rank once full membership has been achieved.

Druid – Male equivalent to Outrunner.

Primary Rules of The Guild

Obedience through chain of command. It is by far the most efficient and organized method for progress.

Discipline comes hand in hand with obedience, yet extends to the field. Trust your superiours to know what is correct at the situation in hand.

Efficiency and Discretion are both vital. We are not there to make friends. Efficiency is the key to success.

All members of the guild must keep themselves respectable both aesthetically and psychologically.
All members of the guild must use appropriate equipment during duty hours.

All members of the guild are required to attend daily worship of Elune in an organzied location, and have appropriate appearance to reflect that.

OOC Rules

The obvious, follow the server rules etc.

The expected, have a high level of understanding of English spelling, grammar and general tendencies.

The not so obvious, please have your character have at least one factor that will differentiate itself from the norm. This is the only way to properly create character development and interesting RP.

OTHER THINGS

I'd like to personally 'interview' you upon sign up to the guild, including OOC and IC.

I feel really awkward in creating this long post, I'm just imagining getting zero signups. .___.

I'll add more to this when I think of it.

CAPS - Need to change to something appropriate.

Speak to me on Lillisaea ingame for more info.

I find this concept intriguing. I may be contacting you for further information and will definitely return to this thread when you provide more details.

Also, if I may make a suggestion? Presentation of a guild can go a long way to recruiting members and encouraging interest. You can use BBCode for format your text, which can also make reading the post much easier. I know that, for me, numerous one sentence paragraphs can be a bit overwhelming and I tend to skim. Headings, bulleted points, and the like can go a long way -- as can adding the occasional image or two to help break up text!

Avoid colors if possible. They can have a jarring effect when some (mostly older) audiences read them and I've also found that these color transformations get brought over to mobile applications like Tapatalk, rendering them pretty much ineligible illegible!

Good good good luck!

Edit: Fingers didn't listen to the brain when I typed. Grumble, mumble, blerg.

Yeah, you're right. I should have done it but I wrote this last night in a word processor. I'll also add what character it is on TT. Thanks!

I've created the guild and have one member besides myself already. Updated OP slightly.
