I'm leaving March 14th, Wednesday to New Orleans for a robotics tournament. While we will have internet at the hotel we're staying at, I doubt I'll be getting on WoW much. I'll be back the next Sunday.

Characters become busy with something important.

Edited to add in some tips useful to anyone traveling in my home state. No Katrina jokes. We still hate FEMA. Speak highly of the Saints and Drew Brees. Bourbon Street is only crazy at night. French Quarter is amazing. Go to Café du Monde for beingeits (pronounced ben-yays. Say big-nets and you'll look a fool). Walk during daylight. Night time? Call a cab. The McDonalds on Canal Street smells of rat doo. You cannot buy sweet tea, you have to sweeten it yourself in N'awlins. Don't say New Orleans. Say N'awlins. Some channels are in Cajun French. That's normal.

You'll thank me later for those N'awlins travel tips.

I'm sure there's a live-stream somewhere, that'd be better quality. I'll see what I can do, though!

Effectively, our robot has to pick up basketballs, and then shoot them. The first part is that the robot has to do the shooting by itself, and then the second part is human controlled. It gets a bit complex, so that's the basic layout.

Had lots of fun. Took lots of pics and videos. I'll find a way to put them on Youtube if you want to see our robot kicking ass.

Our Alliance got knocked out in the Semi-finals, though. :(
