Yay, another absence thread from me! However unlike the first time this won't turn out to be nothing and I return the next day. On the other hand unlike last time I'm not actually -gone-.

For those who care to read it, here is a short life story of the reason behind why I will be gone!

You see, from the very start my school has been... bad for me. Back in first grade I got held back because I wasn't mature enough for second grade. Yep, they held a first grader back for maturity, even though I was the top of my class.

So a few years later I got held back yet again. This time they wouldn't even give a reason. They just told my parents it was best for me to have to repeat my third grade year.

So I trucked on until fifth grade. They suddenly decided that I should move on to seventh grade the next year. My parents once again went along with it.

Our school is Kindergarten through sixth grade in one building, and then Seventh through Senior in a bigger building across the road.

So I had to leave my friends I had made in the recent years behind. I didn't have any classes with them anymore, and didn't see them much at all during school like I used to. But that's okay, I made new friends! Including my current best friend.

I can't say my troubles ended there though. My schooling went downhill as I went through the years as the staff of the school must have literally -tried- to remove any interest in school work from me. Nothing was interesting to me, but just gotta do it to move on in life right? Wasn't enough for them apparently.

So for the purpose of getting away from that school, I dropped out and am currently getting ready to get my GED.

Some consider this the -easy out- that won't get you anywhere in life. But that's not true. I will be getting this GED hopefully soon, and will be using it to get into college next year. So really, I am just moving ahead to where I should be.

Today I had to take an evaluation test. You know, to make sure I wasn't a complete moron.

Not to brag but I had to get a 10.0 minumum. That means I am at 10th grade level and capable of obtaining my GED. Well, I passed everything with a 12.9, the highest grade. It means my scores were at 12th year 9th month level. AkA college level.

So I don't think getting my GED will be a problem, however the point of all this REALLY other that just telling a story, is that for a while now I will be preparing and studying so I can make sure I get it.

Until then I will be a bit occupied with all this so won't really be on much, between leaving early in the morning, testing before riding back with the family and most likely taking a nap...

I will be taking classes more focused on Computer Engineering so... I guess I have even more studying in my not so distant future! But hey, at least then I can mix it in with RP because my cousin doesn't even crack his books and is passing those classes. I should at least be able to show up! XD

You know something is wrong when the substitute teacher at a school is better than the official one.

Actually, at the basic computer engineering class in my school, I attended one lesson which I slept through and I still got the highest grade. For most people in our generation, with interests such as gaming, roleplaying or just hanging around the internet all day, learning stuff about computers is extremely easy, but you don't even notice it until you take one of those classes and realize how quickly you learn. So you probably won't have any problems with that, I think.

Best of luck Aadora! It sounds like you won't need it, but if you require assistance with a subject don't hesitate to send me a pm! I'm a college student and the only thing I don't really understand is Calculus 2 (and higher levels of math, though all that will come in time =3). I hope you get into your college of choice!

Already did! Can't really get into my choice college with a GED, but I just recieved an email a while ago that I have been accepted into the State University! So I guess I'm officially a college girl now! And after just a couple years there I will be moving to start my quest for world domination AkA ITT Tech school with my Aunt and Uncle.

Got my test results for the pre-test.

Needed at least 450 to pass, and 610 is for a scholarship. I got 687 so... yay!

Aside from a quick driving test tomorrow, I don't really have anything going on until the real test on the 8th and 9th. I obviously don't need to study for it though. I guess what would really be best is just to relax until then. Most of my failed tests back in school were based off of over thinking it and all that.

So for the most part I am back. I just don't feel up for any sort of WoW related RP today, and tomorrow I will be gone for the test. So just a couple days and I will be back for a while.
