Diary of Kenarial Everbloom
#1
Kenarial quietly made her way down the forest path, looking to her left she could see the wide ocean that bordered Quel'thalas. She took in a deep breath of the sea air. She slowly made her way to a cresent shaped slap of stone near the beach, there she sat a wide smile on her face. "Just a few more days..." She said to herself as she pictured the layout of the wedding in her head. She fished a diary out of the satchel she kept hanging at her waist. She opened it up and looked to an earlier entry.

"I almost died today! I finally bested my fear of heights and climbed all the way to the top of the sunspire! Once I was up there I was afraid to move though. I met this really nice guy, Little Wolf. He said he'd catch me if I fell. So nice! Most people are so bitter these days they might have pushed me themselves. I'm going to see him again soon!"

There are hearts decorating that last sentence, even so, she adds more as she reads it. After several minutes of distracted doodles and hearts she flips to her next entry.

"It's supposed to be casual... I'm a priestess! What's casual? My robes are too formal, but the outfit I borrowed from Lithel seems too... too showy! Ugh! Light help! I'm supposed to be leaving to meet him any minute."

She returned to her doodles, drawing out a jewled black gown that was apparently the dress her friend Lithel had lent her. The entry continues underneath that.

"I hope no one misses these... They were just sitting on a clothes line outside the inn."

There was another doodle of some denim pants and a red lowcut shirt that one may expect a sailor to wear. The priestess looked at the doodles for a long time. Deciding they looked lonely without people, she drew Lithel into the black gown then herself into the more casual outfit. The next page she turned to had little wet marks dotting it's features.

"I'm so awkward! We were flirting and.. I don't think I've ever flirted before in all my life. Did I try to hard? What if he thinks I'm weird?! We went swimming in a pond.. Well. I pushed him in, then followed. Was that too much? He just left and he said he wants to meet me again, he's so nice.. I feel bad about getting his clothes all wet. I hope he does not think I'm crazy."

She furrowed her eyebrows as she read the last bit of that one. She scribbled out some parts of it and circled others, this too lead to a series of doodles. She never claimed to have a large attention span. She drew a blue circle that was supposed to be water, art to her. When finally satisfied that the squiggly lines she drew in the circle looked like ripples, she turned the page.

"He doesn't think I'm crazy yet! He even invited me to some spot he found in northrend, I wonder what he's planning... Oh I hope it's romantic! I've always wanted to have a romantic moment like in the stories."

She circled that entry several times, drawing hearts all around it with an arrow decending down to the next one on the same page.

"He said he loves me! Finally! I can finally not worry about embarrasing myself! I love him back! I do, I do, I do! The place he took me is SOOOOOOO romantic! It was just like the stories!"

She puffed herself proudly, as if what she just read was a story that everyone in the world had heard, and one that would live on through-out the ages. That one already had so many hearts that she could almost not even read it... She decided to leave it at that. She blinked and looked down at the bottom of the page, she did not write that part...

"Haha, I read your diary. Cute, Kenny." -Lithel

She would kick her ass later... Or try to. She flipped through several more pages of her ranting on like a love struck girl may do. Finally she found an important one.

"Kenarial Drakewing. He finally asked me to marry him! I can't wait! I'm going to buy all the cookbooks I can find! I'm even going to talk to Jade and Lithel about teaching me how to be more entertaining! We may get to have company over! I get to learn how to be a lady of a household and entertain guests! Yes! All the things I used to be when I was a child, all those games of pretend, they're finally coming true!"

She looked at that one. She ran a finger over the text. She smiled, she mumbled a suble spell, now even in darkness these words would glow with divine energy. She smiled as she turned to the next page, it was blank. She pulled a quill from her satchel, then uncorked a small inkwell, she began writing again.

"I keep coming here. My life has everything I could ever want. This is such a pretty place for a wedding. His mom was okay with it! She was even happy.. I thought she was angry when she started screaming, but she wasn't! I'm accepted! I can't wait to spend the rest of my life as a Drakewing, with Zeein."

She smiled warmly, a tear almost falling from her eye as she gave these words the same enchantment as the last, circling the whole entry with a giant heart. Her ears flicked as a voice came from behind her. "There you are, it's late. We should get home." She blushed maddly, turning around to face her fiance. She gave him flirty kiss on the lips and slid her fingers between his, her head resting on his shoulder as they went back to his home, their home.
