Special Weapon Vendor.

This may have been said before, but I thought I would ask.

Would it be possible to set up the Special Weapons Vendor to sell level appropriate weapons from dungeons and raids. There are people, myself included, that like to hold real weapons.

The reasons are as follows.
1) For what ever reason may come up, people may wish to use class abilities that require a weapon. Since weapons acquired with .addrpitem do not register as real weapons you cannot use some class abilities.

2) Some people have enchanter as part of there background and may wish to have a weapon enchanted with some manner of enchantment for roll play flair. once again, since weapons acquired with .addrpitem do not register as real weapons you cannot enchant them... I don't think.

3) There are some people who, when RP is at a low, may want to get a group together and run instances. Since this is an RP server, people do not have access to the top tier weapons to do this. By giving the option to people to buy it these weapons the can partake in some "grind time away" time.
(I know RP server does not place emphasis on running instances, but people waist time in there own way)

4) We are already able to access top tier armor, why not weapons.

5) BECAUSE... :P

You can buy weapons for any class at the Argent Tournament Grounds for PvE. You do not need top tier for dungeon running.

I'm not sure where it is now that the OOC zone has been moved, but there is a vendor who sells heirloom weapons. I know they're not SUPEREPIC!!!11!1 but they're good enough.

I know of the heirloom vendors and the one in the OOCA is still there by the blacksmith. I may have made it seem like I would like it more for PVE than I meant to. On the contrary, I don't really care about the PVE aspect, I just know there are some who might. The main reason is that, to be honest, I am anal. I like to have the real weapon on me, something I can enchant (if character profile fits) and use class specific abilities on when the use may be deemed RP appropriate.

I would not have any trouble going through the regular grind to find these weapon, but since instance running is far and between (and a lvl 80 can't solo all instances.) I thought it might be worth while to implement something like this (assuming the weapon fit's RP standard). Or if there was a way to let .addrpitem create weapons that registered as regular level 1 weapons (Enchantable and allows the use of class abilities) I would be equally appeased. (i know there are some posts on this, cant recall what discussion said though)

I know I may likely be the minority in this, and that it is likely a far fetched dream, but you never know until you ask.

Anywho. It depends on the weapon. The only ones that would really be any problem to get the real ones would be full raid weapons. And even so you could just get a group together for them.

I would think it would feel more rewarding if I worked for the weapon.

Also... watch the Auction House. You can often find epic weapons there that you would normally have to grind for.
