Feedback for Saetik
#1
Something that I have been dreading for months. Is there anything that you do/don't like about my characters? My RPing style? Is there anything that you would like to see from these characters?

~Solis

~Boan

~Aladan

~Montag

IT BETTER BE GOOD FEEDBACK, OTHERWISE I'LL SHOOT LAZERS! (I'm joking!)

Solis is awesome, really. I liked when Korque was ticking him off. I never RP'd with Montag (OR DID I IDK.) so I don't really know. But when I was RP'n with Solis he was... Too badass I guess, which is kind of like UN-FEARLESS SUPER ASSASIN! But it was still fun!

In the past couple of weeks, I was actually trying to bump down Solis's courage. After all, everyone has a fear.

Thank you for the feedback, SunThas! (Should RP again some time!)

There is.

It's really annoying how you tend to leave a roleplay once it stops interesting you, just to be posting in LFG for another roleplay. You could at least tell us what you disliked about the roleplay. Or heck, tell us in advance. It comes off as rude.

Which is just another thing to bring up. You come off as rude occasionally, and your characters can be a bit silly. I mostly recall the death of Faceless during the recent Kidnapped event. You know, the one you threw a knife at after giving this pre-death one-liner? And then proceeded to brag about until our eventual escape? It just... sucked a lot of fun out of the event. It was just a very silly ending to an otherwise amazing event, and I didn't think it was tasteful. I personally didn't enjoy it, don't know about others.

I feel like you're trying to make your characters badasses. Know that there are other ways to make a character come off as strong, without overtly being a 'total boss' who is 'tuff'.

Saetik will often leave RP to spend time with his friends, and certain friends of his will have to go after he has already left the RP. So there is one thing, you are loyal even when there is a good chance your friend may not be able to do what you left something else to do with them.

Not to mention I have seen times where people would join his RP he is starting, only to leave before it even starts to join someone else public RP. Not saying he -should- just leave RP when he gets bored, but you know what they say... When in Rome...

Can't say much about the event... as after I was sitting there on my character, and Skyfin came around and brought every person into the center... and ignored my character, I left the RP as I was already in a bad mood due to real life events.

And not to try to enforce anything Xigo but, rule #3 please.

Last time I recalled, I haven't bragged during the event. Instead, my character has passed out. When he woke up though, he went over and retrieved the knife. Though if you are referring to OOC, then sure, I may brag about it. But after awhile, it gets old and gets buried.

It's all about the character development and setting down a fun environment for other people, right? Thanks for pointing that out.

Fixing, fixing, fixing.

I know what you're saying and I wish I could have changed my actions. At the time though, I didn't have many options due to how badly injured my character was. I couldn't just "Somehow gained enough strength and energy to charge, bringing his sword out. He tries to finish the lady off by running his sword through her chest." I also didn't expect to be the one to kill her. But then again, everyone can become greedy.

Ratatadtattat feedbacks!

I don't leave due to the dullness of the RP, but rather that other people decide to leave. I also leave whenever someone is asking for RP and can't seem to find any, or when a friend wants to join but couldn't. When Moriok (Rosencrat) began inviting people to her event that started on Thursday, I joined but decided to leave because I felt that I should join my friends and give someone else the chance (Due to the limited amount of people that were allowed to join.) But when I do have to leave, it is mostly due to chores, RL things that may be serious, or that I have to go to somewhere special.

Thank you for clearing that out, it gave me the time to think and change what was needed to be changed.

~More feedback, please!

Ah feedback.. Really Solis is the only character I know so I'm gonna just post this out there. He had a forced badass feel to him, as if you wanted him to be awesome, which he is, don't get me wrong, but before it felt kinda.. Forced. But now, he seems more down to earth, better with his own sense of right and wrong, and I like it. On the faceless thing though, you have brought it up multiple times OOCly whenever I've ended up rping with you (Not that you do this specifically whenever I'm around, it just sorta seems to happen). I think it was to prove that he was indeed powerful, and usually I end up in a debate with you about how my characters done this and this and this, which isn't meant to show off, but to put out there that just because they've done something like that it doesn't make them important. From the talks that I had with you and you bring this stuff up, you seem to make it seem as if Solis saved the day and prevented Faceless from killing everyone. Which maybe he did from an IC standpoint. But OOC, someone else easily could have rolled themselves a 100.

But hey, you've seem to have gotten better so highfive for that! On another subject though, you seem to like leaving guilds when they start to bore you. Which makes sense and all, the guild goes inactive for a while and it gets boring and your character has no real place, I'd leave myself. But in the sake of the Silverfangs, I doubt many of the ones who are part of this guild will like Solis very much cause he left, and in some minds it's deserting.

But despite this, you actually fun. To be honest, I thought you were kinda annoying at first. The whole "Chuck Norris of CotH" was funny to me at first, then when I started rping with you, you had that cocky all about me attitude. But that seems to have died down, and so I look forward to rping with you again! Specially if Boan ends up being Krest's grandson.

I was there when Solis quit the Sivlerfangs. Liridon and Solis double teamed a Tauren and ripped his nose-ring out. Liridon and Leron were laughing about this. Solis was apparently in some strange happenings before that ICly, and decided it wasn't his place, or a group he wanted to remain involved with.

As far as I can tell his intentions for leaving the Silverfangs were for good IC reason.

And also, Kaide is being held back from killing Melina if she sees her again lol. So there is one thing. I get my character involved with one of your characters and can easily see how he is mixed up in a lot of "drama" here and there. So just being friends even with one of your characters brings about all kinds of great RP.

I've had this happen a couple of times (mainly on Jonoth), where you've left the RP before it even starts. Which is a shame, because I regular see your requests for RP, and I understand how frustrating it can be to log in and be in the mood for some awesome RP only for there not to be much going on. But when someone does reach out and make an invite, only for the RP to be abandoned, it sets a bad precedent, and in the future may make them less willing to invite back. I can totally understand wanting to RP with friends if they come on, and it wouldn't be impolite in the least to either ease out of a roleplay to do so, or even ask if said friends can also join in on the RP (which in almost all cases should be absolutely okay). I moreso take issue when not long after the RP starts I go to ask a character something to help integrate them, only for them to be gone and a LFG message to be in its place.

I've had a couple longer interactions with Solis while on Dibykali, and a couple brief meetings on Jonoth where he was around long enough to start to get to know the character, and I actually thought things were quite splendid. My only gripe was that you vanished too soon. Take the time to build character relationships, and I think it will go a long way in also giving you even more consistent RP!
