Alright, I've been having this problem since I got this computer. My internet, is quick. It works 99% of the time and I have no problems with it.

Except when I try to do very specific things.

Diablo 3 and Steam patches/mod downloads do not work. When I log onto Diablo 3, I can play maybe 15 minutes before it freezes. I've waited it out and it ends up disconnecting me. On Steam, when I try to download mods for Skyrim, it says that it fails.

Now, I've tried opening the specific ports in my router (since my connection is wireless) for Diablo/Steam, but to no avail. My drivers and my OS (Windows 7) are completely updated. I've got a 802.11n Wireless LAN Card and a Broadcom Netlink ™ Gigabit Ethernet card. I can provide more information once I get a bit of help/willingness to help.

Thanks!

Diablo 3 is just derpy like that because Blizzard. Get a refund is my advice, buy it a year later when it ACTUALLY WORKS. Steam..that's odd as hell, have you tried changing your download area in Steam settings after opening ports?

So, after some experimentation, it seems that my internet doesn't want to work properly whenever I try to download something using Firefox/Internet Explorer/Chrome, Steam and Blizzard products. It is even stranger, in that some downloads from Firefox and Steam work, while others don't. Blizzard is just too derpy for me to even try to fix at the moment.

When I diagnosed the problem, it told me that my device or DNS server was not responding. Naturally, I checked my Wireless LAN card and it is working fine. Then, I spent the past few days looking for a solution to the DNS problem. It was fixed, but things are still messing up.

It's weird, because I've tried downloading WoW and it downloads until 99% (most of the time) and then it just drops. Like 0.00 kb/s. And yes, I've opened the required ports.

Anyone have a similar issue/technological know-how?
