First and foremost: Tell us about yourself, as a player:
My name is Richard and I'm a Roleplayer (Hi Richard!).
I like to have long walks on the beach and I find puppies adorable. I'm looking for a woman with class-..
Hehe, but no. I don't really like long walks on the beach, but what I do like is roleplaying. I've been doing so for about five years now. Four years of table-top RP and one year of WoW RP, to be precise. I'm not really a "hardcore raider" or anything like that, but I've played World of Warcraft for about three years. I also enjoy other games, like WC3, Red Dead Redemption and Mount and Blade.
What country do you come from? What is your primary language?:
I'm from Sweden and my native language is swedish.
How did you get into Warcraft?:
A few friends of mine started to play it and they told me it was a great game. I decided to believe them and bought the game... It didn't disapoint me.
How did you find us? Did anything in particular draw you to the server?:
Me and my friends had been RPing on Retail before, but then they quit and I was left behind. A few days ago we got together and decided to start looking for a private RP server and google lead us here! We choosed this one because it seems like a "serious" server.
What kinds of roleplay do you enjoy?:
I enjoy most kinds of roleplay, really. Events and casual RP the same.. Although I doesn't really like playing the "good guy". My characters often has a quite "dark" touch to them.
What is your favorite race/class? Why?:
Race: I'd say human in the blue team, since I find them "easy" and very flexible to RP as. On the red side I'd say undead or troll, simply because they're awesome!
What are your expectations of this server?:
I expect this to be a "serious" server with a good staff... And of course loads of quality RP!
Out of all of our rules and regulations listed on our server, which appeals to you the most?:
I find the "Maturity" rule appealing.. Since there's clearly a serious lack of maturity on the Retail servers.
Lastly, tell us a story! It can be short, it can be long; but most importantly, we want to see your work in action. Go!:
It was a scorchingly hot day in the late of summer and private Morgan Smith was seriously craving a cold drink, preferable something with alcohol in it. That would surely take the edge of the tension he felt... Morgan really hated the eastern Plaugelands. He pictured himself showering in cool wine. Yes, showering in wine holding a woman in his arms. That's the dream, he thought to himself.
Morgan was suddenly forced back to reality as the smelly forsaken pressed the tip of it's poorly crafted blade against his throat. Man, these walking corpses are impatient for sure. It said something in the guttural-abuse-of-common, which apparently is the language spoken among corpses.
It sounded like a question.
“What did you say, stinker?”
Morgan got the feeling that the abomination understood that he insulted it and sure enough, a merciless kick to the balls confirmed it. Morgan fell to the ground, covering his jewels whilst whimpering in pain. The forsaken's blade had made a shallow cut on his neck. He could feel a foot pressing him down onto the ground and he wondered how things could have gone so bad.
The remains of the Lordaeron army had sent him and a bunch of other soldiers to scout the hostile territory. They had been following their orders, scouting for enemy troops, when they got ambushed. They didn't have a chance. Chop, chop, stabby-stab. Now there's just a handful of humans remaining of his squad, captured by the fearsome undeads.
Once again Morgan's fantasies were disrupted by the inpatient corpse. It gave him a kick to the side, before turning away to speak to it's fellow deadies. This was an opportunity that Morgan just couldn't waste. He rolled to his right, away from his capturer. He managed to get up to his feet and then he ran for it. Freedom loomed just a few yards away... So close, yet so far away.
A swing of the undeads sword, a lethal blow to the side of his neck. The surprisingly cold blade cut through skin, artery and gullet. Morgan fell headlong to the ground, the sound of the abominations wicked cackle filled his mind as life left him.
