Hi!

So, I figured it's time for me to have one of these, since I think I'll definitely need some feedback to improve my RP abilities beyond what they are now!

I have a few alts that I don't really play, but my primary focuses are..


Main Characters

Norael: Rough, short fused, and rather misunderstood Blood Knight! While she comes off as just hot headed, there's more than meets the eye in her reactions.

Laenaya: Greedy, lustful, plotting, deceiving, and just rather evil, this outwardly well-mannered woman is a frightening person when angered. Always planning and plotting to get her way, she'll let nothing come between her and her goals. (At least, nothing that doesn't want to die a horrible death!)
(I'll add more later when I actually RP someone enough to consider them active!)

Storyline/Secondary Characters

None, yet!

Feeding, eh? Well, I'll start off with what I can in small segments... Do note, that none of this may be accurate. It is merely my own perception!

RP-wise: Your characters, as few as they are, are well rounded and pretty well played. The one thing I could try to comment is, try thinking of how broad a character's thought of profession is. Keeping your characters completely none-reliant of ANY service of almost any sort, is a sure guarantee that said character has spread itself far too thin, and should be considered thus. Per example, while it is alright for a character to have a few hobbies, heck even a few dozens... It's important to remember that the more hobbies that are spent on, the more tasks, and the lesser amount of time the character has to give to some things. At times, it feels like you give your characters a bit too many hands, and not enough actual handicaps to make up for it. Next character you make, or the current ones, try implanting more flaws or better yet, make existing flaws much more noticeable and flaw-like. Remember, it isn't a flaw if it isn't there to make things harder in crucial moments (As I like to think atleast.)

OOC attitude: While you're intelligent, and fun to hang about with, at times you just brush off as plain cynical and unpleasant. Tone it down, simple as that. There were moments where your intelligence just turns into another tool that you use to broadcast your anger or frustration at something, that at times didn't really feel justified. Try toning down a bit on the snark, be more accepting of other players choices and stop trying to dig at EVERY given fact a player gives you. At times, players are caught unprepared for some questions as to why X did Y and not Z, and that is no excuse to 'bash' over them so to speak.

I'm aware that there wasn't the request about OOC feedback, but I felt it needed to be said.

I like you. I like Norael. Here's my criticism:

Her flaws aren't really flaws. They seem like additions to the character made for the purposes of making her seem more badass, or more appealing as a character than realistic issues with her.

Example being her coldness. The "badass apathetic Dark Knight" thing has been done over and over and adding "apathetic" to it is purely to aid the concept of "badass". A Dark Knight whom gives no %$^!s is a boring character concept.

That said you do it -reasonably- well and I'm perfectly able to tolerate it but yep, just things to bear in mind. Always think; "Is my character a stereotype?" before creating it, because in my mind, Norael very much is.

Potato! The apathetic badass thing is a little off, though! She's outwardly apathetic for a few reasons, but inside, she's always caring, always worrying. No one's quiiittee yet made it to the point that she's willing to spill her guts or explain why she does certain things! (Some things she doesn't even understand.) And thank you as well!

Norael: Far as I remember she seemed alright. The armored shell with a very fearful, squishy core. The only issue I might have that might be unrealistic is how easily she gives up. It might be an alright flaw, but I'm not sure how much of it is OOCly influenced by your frustrations with an RP.

Syia: While she isn't listed, she's the only other character of yours I have any experience with. So! I hope you'll forgive me for being frank, but she bothered me to no end. Some slack is due, considering the environment. And I'm not sure if you've ever RPed her before. And a quarter of the time I think she was Thieved. Be that as it may, she did not speak "Sentinel" to me. At all. The way she spoke, the sexual liberty (night elves spend years "courting". Granted, we don't have years in RP, but casual trysts in the barracks are--well, no)...it was like she got her training from a passing Goblin.

I did enjoy some of her cluelessness about certain words in Common, and other confusion about different cultures. It's just--she's far too much of a masculine "badass", that I expect her to be chewing on a cigar. A very purple, eco-friendly cigar, but a cigar nonetheless.

General RP: I think I'm picking up on a pattern (right word?) in your characters. I have not RPed with Laenaya yet, but with Felix, Norael, and Syia you seem to heavily lean towards the masculine tin-can badass. This isn't bad at all, but it may be a shell to break out of.

Syia was thieved for well more than half of the event, so it was always a bit of a switch up here and there. I'm still reworking her personality, regardless.

Felix (Feona), No one has really RP'd with. I took them out.. once, and that's it!
