Tekkit
#1
I know there is a Minecraft thread already, but Tekkit... now, that's a whole new world!

I was wondering if someone plays it and if someone wants to play with me (since I'm really just walking in the world of Tekkit and I could use some companion to help me get on my tracks). :)

EDIT 2: I set up a small server on my computer, which will be up as long as I can keep it on. PM me if you're interested in the IP. :)

EDIT:

For the ones that aren't familiar with the mod, here's a small demo of Tekkit, made by Duncan from the Yogscast.

Duncan made a whole series of Tekkit videos. Not sure if he mentions it in the video, but Tekkit is completely stand-alone and you can have both your normal MC and Tekkit installed.

Here is the official site of the mod: http://www.technicpack.net/tekkit/

Also, for the ones that like Yogscast or fun videos at all, here's a link to a YouTube playlist of Lewis, Simon and Duncan, constructing a Jaffa Cake Factory:

Me. Me. I'm up for that. Definitely.
Active Characters:
Velennia - Anchorite. Has a strange liking for tea.
Vynthia Blackfire - Magistrix. Craves sightseeing.
Vanessa Briarthorn - Seemingly timid housewife. Enjoys painting.

I found a few, but they were all full of limitations (which I hate in MC servers of any sort) for the new players and/or a lot of players, who had built their stuff on all the good land.

EDIT: Yeah, I love my sig too. LOL

I know it's a double post, sorry for that.
Just wanted to let people know that I set up a small Tekkit server on my computer. It won't be on 24/7, because there might be some Internet downtimes or I might be travelling. There will definitely be a pause after the 15th of September for 2 weeks or so, because I'll most likely be in a hotel somewhere for that time. But, I will try my best to keep it up through the rest of the time. If someone is interested in the server, PM me for the IP. :)

EDIT: Woo-hoo! 777 posts! ^^
