Asuna's Introduction!
#1
First and foremost: Tell us about yourself, as a player:

Hello! My alias is Asuna and my real name is Liz. I am currently a student that has played World of Warcraft for a long time and has been involved in almost every aspect of the game. I found that my favorite part was meeting new people and delving deep into story through roleplay! As a player, I enjoy almost any kind of situation. I love finding out about new people and getting involved in the world and events around me.

What country do you come from? What is your primary language?:

I was born in the United States and have lived here for all of my life. My primary language is English and this is the only language that I know (besides a little bit of Spanish I guess). I do someday hope to go elsewhere and learn new languages though!

How did you get into Warcraft?:

I started playing right around the release of Burning Crusade. My big brother got me to start playing it with him and I had a lot of fun. Though I was really young at the time, I feel I matured quickly and learned a lot about life and the game through roleplaying with him and his guild.

How did you find us? Did anything in particular draw you to the server?:

To be truthful, I realized that I have not roleplayed for quite a long time and really wanted to get back into it. I found Conquest of the Horde through google, but upon reading rules and introductions I really kind of fell in love with the importance of being a tight-knit community that is upheld here.

What kinds of roleplay do you enjoy?:

I am a very versatile person (or so I like to think) and can have fun partaking in almost any kind of roleplay. I enjoy anything ranging from trivial chatting to taking part in overarching story or events going on in the world. I would be interested and up for almost anything. Specifically, I do enjoy military roleplay a great deal.

What is your favorite race/class? Why?:

My favorite race is blood elf because I feel it is the best representation of me. They are small, but can kick butt just like how i'm a lot smaller than I would like to be and wish I could kick butt. As for class, I enjoy both playing and the general concept of a paladin. I love being able to heal and support people while being strong and durable.

What are your expectations of this server?:

I expect to meet new people, have a lot of fun, be serious at times, and laugh at times. I expect to have a respectful and unique roleplaying experience with others.

Out of all of our rules and regulations listed on our server, which appeals to you the most?:

Humility appeals to me the most. It's good to point out that everything doesn't revolve around one's own character.

Lastly, tell us a story! It can be short, it can be long; but most importantly, we want to see your work in action. Go!:

Asuna bolted awake. Another dreaded nightmare of her father's death to the alliance it seemed. This had been happening more and more recently. Her father's death seemed to be ages ago, and trying to figure out the cause of her more frequent mid-night torturing was driving her crazy. She stood from her bed, and proceeded to put on her armor and cloak. The armor rattled and clinked as she grabbed her shield and sword and headed to the door.

The Murder Row was not particularly the safest or nicest place to live, but Asuna could take care of herself and didn't mind the shady rogues or warlocks all that much. Over time, she learned the way to survive there was to not meddle in the affairs of others, and to not own all that much of value. She liked to think that she could quickly dispatch anyone who caused her trouble. Even though that may not be the case, it gave her peace of mind.

It seemed like everyone in The Murder Row had mutual respect for one another once they had been living there for some time. In a way, there was an unofficial trial to live there. If you could put up with the petty thieving attempts, random outbreaks of violence towards outsiders and passersby, and almost daily door knocks from guards, then it wasn't too bad.

Asua put up her hood as to not reveal to anyone where she lives and began to make her way to the much nicer Farstriders' Square. She had been receiving training in the discipline of the light as a paladin under Knight-Lord Bloodvalor there. Though they seemed far from reality, she had hopes to one day become a master paladin under the likes of Lady Liadrin herself.

Is there anything else you would like to add, ask, or otherwise clarify?:

I really hope I fit in here and I am looking forward to meeting new people and having a great experience. I am always willing to learn so anything that needs to be added upon, clarified, or changed, please make me aware of! Thanks in advance for reading!

Hello, Asuna (or Liz!), I'm Caravan and I'd like to welcome you to Conquest of the Horde! Thank you for your story -- I particularly liked the way you characterized Murder Row and showing two sides of it (I mean, goodness, a paladin-in-training lives there!). I hope, as well, that you fit right in, and I feel that you're already on the right path, honey! :)

Don't forget to take a look at our rules, policiesand these "swelltastic" guides as a way to get a feel for our server.

If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to PM me here on the forums. You can also usually catch me lurking in-game on Cara or Xanthe. But, really, you can ask anyone else on the server (particularly our fantastic GM and Forum Helper staff) as we're all usually free and willing to help!

Also! Don't forget to /join chat (for general communication) and /join barrens (for all the sillies) when you get in game! If ever you need to find a GM, .gm ingame is a very handy In-game command! Tickets also work.

:) Again, welcome, and I hope you enjoy your stay~!
