Hey guys. I know I promised that I would update this thread about how I was doing at uni, but I haven't really had the time. That should tell you enough about how I'm doing at uni. :P

My grandmother passed away this morning. We were very close. She pretty much raised me single-handedly. She was such an amazing woman and she's had a long and brilliant life, but she'd been ill for a long time. It's been a long time coming and my family's been horribly worried all year, so in a sense I'm glad that she's finally at peace. She wasn't in pain, and I swear she knew we were there, shortly before she stopped breathing. I'm so proud of her. She was fighting so hard, but I guess you can only do so much fighting before you tire yourself out.

I need a break. It's been an uphill struggle all year, with my grandmother, school and now uni, my family's money problems, my dad, and f**k knows what else. Since coming to uni, I've been devoting a lot of my free time to GM work, trying to keep BH active, and everything else, and it's been an additional layer of stress that I've been glad to take upon myself. And I still am glad, because I love you guys. You're the best.

Which is why I'm really sorry, particularly to everyone in BH. Since our activity slump at the end of the summer I think I've utterly failed as a guild leader. Still, I've come to realise that CotH should really be the least of my worries. I guess you can only do so much fighting before you tire yourself out.

I don't know when I'll be back, but I'll be checking the forums regularly and easy to reach via Skype and so on. Again, I'm sorry. I need a break.

Oh God. You have my sympathies, Sol, for your grandmother. If it makes you feel better, remember that --as you said-- she fought until the end and that, in the end, she's in a way better place!

As for the Black Harvest, in the little amount of events I've been in, along you, you've been great. No, more than great! I don't even know.
I do hope you'll be back, some day, so we can have more fun togheter.. especially with Irsha and Dhorgun.
