Word is seeping through the Undercity about a solemn procession in which three warriors under Kor'kron guard were taken into the bowels of the War Quarter. They had fought for Lordaeron, the streets whisper, and suffered for it.

Three hours later, they emerged, and they looked barely worse off for their ordeal.

Now word is spreading through Lordaeron itself of a curious congregation that means to gather in a dead chapel at the noon hour, tomorrow, to hear a strange sort of sermon on this grim tribunal's outcome.

Spoiler:
Hey. Hey Nexus. Glad you caught that one.

Anyway, guild meeting tomorrow (for those characters that are remaining with the Harvest, at least) at 12PM ST to set the guild's IC manifesto for an event line to come. Attendance would be highly valued.

Also, anyone looking into joining or rejoining the Harvest, or participating in what should be a pretty damn cool plot with us, might want to drop by! :B

Cheers guys,
Sol <3

We have been pushed to the brink, my friends. We have been threatened with liquidation and extinction, and we have been given another chance. Now, we must seize it.

My brothers and sisters, what truly drives us? What keeps our bodies moving even though they should not? What anchors our souls, our hearts, to this world when they should be consigned to oblivion? Why were our minds freed when so many more remained enslaved? Why do we still endure when so many have been lost?

Some of you will say there is nothing more to our unique position than a curious concoction of necromancy and chance. I, for my part, ascribe it to something far greater.

Yet our people still struggle in the grip of an unspeakable lethargy. Even before our great victory against the Scourge, there were those who wallowed in the dark, lost for meaning, for purpose - and after it, they wallow all the more.

But the fall of our great enemy must not be the sum of all our struggles. The Forsaken have a greater destiny than the ruin of the Bastard Prince, greater than anything we can imagine, and we must offer them a glimpse of it.

For we are the Chosen of the Shadow -- just as the sons of Arathor and old Strom were once said to be the Chosen of the Light. And I believe, my friends, that our people may one day rise to match their glories, even surpass them -- but this is not merely fated. With watchful Respect, boundless Tenacity and dedicated Power, we must fight for our future.

And yet how can we aspire to any future, when this land -- our land -- is littered with relics of a land before the Scourge? They, who were spared of its wrath; and now it is our path they block! How can we take pride in anything, when our enemies conspire against us, entrenched and undaunted, a bare thirty miles south of our great capital?

If we are to see our new order emerge, we must first show the people that it can first rise out of the ruins of the old. They need to see a victory. We cannot reap if nothing grows, and nothing will grow if the land is barren.

And so, I see it clearly now. Before we can take up our scythes, we must first sweep through this land like wildfire through dead wood. If we must leave ashes and devastation in our wake, then we will -- and with them, we will strengthen and enrich the land beneath us. Only from that soil will our new Lordaeron will rise.

I can feel it in my bones. The future of our nation -- of our people -- will be won or lost in the year to come, and we cannot win it without a fight.

So will you join me once more, my friends, and call me your brother anew?

Will you fight?

Only through war do we truly find our strength.

The stage is being set. The path is becoming clear. The call has been sounded.

When the time comes, we stand with Lakenstrad.

Report to the Sepulcher.

I will fear no darkness, for I am Shadow made flesh.
