First and foremost: Tell us about yourself, as a player:
Heylo all! Firstly I'd just like to say - I LOVE the whole CotH environment, it sounds perfect for an RPer like myself.

I began RPing in the Warcraft world back at the beginning of TBC and have been enjoying the immersible feeling ever since. I do try to keep my knowledge of lore and history up to date and will often find my nose stuck deep into the WoWwiki or a good book based around the fantasy style. Hopefully, CotH and your lovely players will be able to offer me the RPing experience I've been searching for, sadly having not found them on the current RP servers of WoW.

What country do you come from? What is your primary language?:
I live in the UK, speaking only English - though I do a mean Orc impression.

How did you get into Warcraft?:
I started to play Warcraft as my partner and real life friends bought it upon vanilla first day release, having lost him to WoW over a week I finally gave in and took the plunge. Oddly enough, he and the other friends have all quit now but I'm still in love with everything Warcraft related, though not so much the PVE anymore. RP is my absolute priority.

How did you find us? Did anything in particular draw you to the server?:
I Google'd you I knew about the "perfect worlds" before, the private RP servers where people flocked to really feel like their inner Tauren but hadn't managed to find one until now, yay!

What kinds of roleplay do you enjoy?:
I'd not consider myself an "elitest" or a "picker" of RPing situations, I thoroughly enjoy all kinds of RPing from the most relaxing of sharing a drink and a story around a campfire to adventuring deep into the forest to track down and slay the terrible monster, winning the heart of the fair maiden (aww).

What is your favorite race/class? Why?:
This has to be the hardest question! Over the last 8 years of WoW I've tried every race and class combo. Those I dislike are the "short legs" - Dwarves/Goblins/Gnomes, no offence to them! I'm not entirely sure why I just couldn't get into them. If I was told to choose just one it would be for the lore reasons; Blood Elves. Though the Forsaken are so absorbing also..Then there's the fierce Orcs and their loyal Troll friends... BAH, I can't decide each race is so enjoyable, when it comes to playing the server (upon assumption I'm accepted of course ) I'd choose the class and race that I find myself most attracted to by those around me, such as guilds etc.

What are your expectations of this server?:
"Expectations" are none. I'd prefer the term "hopes" I hope to find an environment where lol/noob/achievements/GS aren't part of the daily chat. I hope to feel like an actual Orc as I walk the dusted streets of Org, from what I have read so far on your website and wiki this is exactly what is awaiting me so my hopes are at present dreams until I can feel the crunch beneath my feet.

Out of all of our rules and regulations listed on our server, which appeals to you the most?:
The respect towards each other, it's such a rarity these days in WoW and in real life it'll be nice to see it happen.

Lastly, tell us a story! It can be short, it can be long; but most importantly, we want to see your work in action. Go!:
"Just a minute, love" he called out gruffly to his wife, her incessant cries were now an audio of wailing and howls. It wasn't long ago that they were both so happy; young, recently wed couple and so very much in love with their new home nestled within the forest bordering the grand Lordaeron castle.

He hauled himself up from the chair with a heavy sigh, the leather creaked and exhaled in release of the pressure, the echoing thuds of his boots as he approached their bedroom door carrying his wife's evening meal. Standing briefly for a moment, his aging hand stretching out for the door handle as he smiled to himself, the memories of their wedding night - how he carried her through the door, her chestnut hair brushing against him, her eyes glowing in the moonlight as they shared a lovers' kiss.

"Bra-Bra-" The calling from his wife brought him swiftly back to reality, his shaking hand twisted the handle, pushing the wood with his boot to open the door to his wife upon the bed.

A mere shadow of his once so perfect wife, instead the plague having now taken most of her body and mind, the stench of rotten skin something he had grown accustomed towards, the putrid face of his once beautiful bride as she stared at him emptily, drooling. Placing the plate of raw meat upon the table he looked over to her, the 'wife' held to the bed with holy bindings and chains. Brandon smiled as he always would acting as if nothing were out of the ordinary as he began to gently feed her "supper" telling the drooling mess about his day as if all were normal.

As the moonlight shone in through the bedside window, above the bed an engraved plaque could be read with the text "Till Death Do Us Part".

Sorry I rambled! I'm so nervous filling out applications, though this is usually me in a nut shell; open, honest, fun but serious when required.

If you haven't already, I'd recommend reading through our rules and policies, just to make sure you're all set! We do have quite a few of them, after all.

If you haven’t already, give the articles and guides a look! We also have a whole page for tips about creating characters, which should give you a gentle push in the right direction.

When you get on the server, you're recommended to /join Barrens and /join Chat. The Barrens is just for random banter, while the Chat is more for serious discussion and questions about the server/Lore. Joining those two channels is your best bet to get in touch with the rest of the server, and throwing out a little "hi, I'm new" is bound to attract someone’s attention, if you want any help. If you have more specific questions about the server, like information about the rules or help maneuvering the forums, you can PM or whisper our Staff; That's the Forum Helpers and Game Masters. On occasion, the GMs host “Open Offices” where players are encouraged to bring their concerns and questions to the Staff’s attention.

Looks like we've got a thing or two in common! I like Blood Elves, though Orcs and Forsaken have a special place in my heart. I look forward to see your characters in action.

Oohh yay, thank you for the access!

I've been reading my way through all the stickies and the majority of the forum whilst I counted down the seconds to the reply (admittedly this was in another window being refreshed eagerly every 5 seconds :P)

I shall get right onto the character creation and joining of server now, looking forward to meeting you all - and especially you, Rowgen, you have excellent taste!
