I would love to see herbs being placed either somewhere in GMI or someplace else(or somehow figure out to make them spawn again) so people would be able to level herbalism and through that, easier alchemy levelling.

Well, for alchemy training, there is an herb vendor on the airship.

Peons have a hard time getting all that money and when there is noone to RP with, then gathering herbs would at least be kind of entertaining for some.

I would not suggest the GMI since it is where everyone usually is. It would make it hard to get the herbs when people are "in the way".

There are portions of GMI which are almost never used, like on the sides of the main building.

EDIT: Also, it is not impossible for GMs to simply add more land.

Training professions really is easy enough as is. Everything is on a vendor, everything gives 5 times the normal skill amount. Professions are also not all that really needed on the server. Most the raids are broken, others have been de-instanced and there are many guides on the internet telling where certain herbs can be found. If someone is that bored where they'll level up a random profession, then it can also give them a reason to go sight-seeing and land the exploration achievement while they're at it.

We also can't spawn land. It would be nice if we could, but we can't. We can spawn objects like giant tables and docks, but that would just look gaudy.

I think it'd be too much to ask for the herbs to spawn where they are supposed to, hence the way I am asking it.
