Arachne's introduction!
#1
First and foremost: Tell us about yourself, as a player: I am kind of new to online roleplaying, but not new to writing. I started roleplaying at first in real life with pen and paper games like D&D, but recently moved on to some online roleplaying.

What country do you come from? What is your primary language?: I'm from the United States, and I speak English.

How did you get into Warcraft?: I tried out WoW when one of my friends told me about it. I mostly played on PvE servers, but I tried RP servers, and I thought they were fun!

How did you find us? Did anything in particular draw you to the server?: The atmosphere of the RPing on Blizzard's servers felt a bit stifled to me, and I wanted to do more with the stories there…so I started looking around for RP communities (hoping for something like D&D), but I found you instead, and that's even better.

What kinds of roleplay do you enjoy?: I like roleplaying long and drawn out stories, and I like roleplaying that involves a lot of emotions and deep investment…a little bit ambiguous, but I don't really distinguish between the circumstances so much as the writing.

What is your favorite race/class? Why?: I've always liked elves because of their mystical qualities, and I'm drawn to mages, shamans and druids as well for similar reasons. I've always wanted to try a martial class, but I don't know if I'd be good at it.

What are your expectations of this server?: I'm looking for a friendly community where I'll be able to write the stories that I've had trouble getting out in other places.

Out of all of our rules and regulations listed on our server, which appeals to you the most?: I think that respect is my favorite rule, because it seems like so many people forget about it in many communities…to have it as an actual rule here makes it seem like you care a lot about how people feel here.

Lastly, tell us a story! It can be short, it can be long; but most importantly, we want to see your work in action. Go!: I want to post it when I become a grunt, if that's okay?

Is there anything else you would like to add, ask, or otherwise clarify?: I don't think so, no!

Hello there, Arachne! Welcome to Conquest of the Horde!

Remember to register your in-game account in the Account Management page with the exact information you registered your forum name under.

As per standard approval procedure, I'm going to link you to a few nice places that it certainly doesn't hurt if you double-check and make yourself extra familiar with. These are the Rules and Policies, as well as the FAQs. They've got a bunch of vital information in them.

Without further ado, welcome to the server and I hope we'll see you around!

Happy RPing!

Love,
GM Loxmardin
