Preye's Introduction.
#1
First and foremost: Tell us about yourself, as a player:
Well, to start my name is Jeremy Talbot and I am from New York, within the United States. While writing this I am on summer break going resuming class in late august where I will be going after my bachelors degree. As a gamer I am not a fan of FPS, I prefer RPGs. Such games that I like are Dragon Age I and II, Oblivion, Skyrim, and The Sims I guess is in there too. I prefer to play with mature people generally around my age or older, I am 20.

What country do you come from? What is your primary language?:
I am from the United States of America, and my primary language is American English. I speak very poor Spanish, but enough to tell people that I don't speak Spanish.

How did you get into Warcraft?:
When I was 10 I wanted to play everquest like my older brothers and older sister. Since that game was deemed "too mature" for me I picked up World of Warcraft on the recommendation of my Older brother I was hooked and allowed myself to spend my high school career behind a computer, but only once I was in college did I start roleplaying in world of warcraft.

How did you find us? Did anything in particular draw you to the server?:
Google.com, I Google everything before I ask on message boards, which was my next step. After an hour of googling different things I came across several websites, this being one of them and the most promising for roleplay.

What kinds of roleplay do you enjoy?:
I enjoy most kinds of roleplay, though with my characters in the past I have been fond of playing the soldier. Now this doesn't mean I want to be the famous General who kills thrall, no I have played the general, I have played the mid rank, I have played the peon, and all of them are just so much fun to me. As for kinds of roleplay I enjoy, tavern can be fun, combat and adventure is more my speed though I would have to play a bit before I get as creative as I used to be. The kind of roleplay I don't like is the kind that I have to stop so people can OOC chat for 15 minutes on how someone used the wrong name of an NPC, we know who you are talking about, just roll with it. I am also not a big fan of ERP. I have no problem and somewhat encourage formation of IC relationships though.

What is your favorite race/class? Why?:
My favorite race would have to be Human, as I know a lot about their lore, and I am a human IRL. I have enjoyed the dwarves as well simply because of the tavern RP. I always wanted to play a horde for something other than raiding, but I always figure they are as simple as playing an evil person. I prefer playing characters that are good in nature.

What are your expectations of this server?:
To be honest I expect high quality of roleplay as there are a lot of rules and regs (which I am happy about, not enough regs on retail servers). I hope for a small about of grievers if any. I expect the GMs to be fair in ruling of issues. That is all.

Out of all of our rules and regulations listed on our server, which appeals to you the most?:
When I read the bit about humility I smiled quite a bit. Too many people want their character to be the almighty awesomeness that everyone wants to be around, and then their friend who wants to RP has to sit there and watch others. It is great to let everyone have their moment to shine, if they want it.

Lastly, tell us a story! It can be short, it can be long; but most importantly, we want to see your work in action. Go!:
((This story features Lady Lurianosh, a female draenei soldier working within the ranks of the Lordaeron Temple Knights and General James Wildrum of the Stormwind High Command.))

-As General Wildrum pulled his blade from the giant spider, he picked his torch up off the ground and took a look into the darkness of the cave. With a smirk on his face he spoke lightheartedly at the draenei knight, "So what exactly are we here for again?"

-Lady Lurianosh's response showed how she felt about working with James, "We are here because your soldiers are scared of being eaten in the camp while they sleep, if we kept going like I suggested we wouldn't have to clear this cave and its creatures."

-As the two continued down the cave killing spiders and a few wolves that were trying to flee, the General thought it would be a great idea to provoke the draenei, "I thought you blue folk worshiped the light and the Norow. Isn't killing animals bad."

-"That would be the Naaru human and you would do well to remember it, and what do you worship if not the light?!"

- James just smiled and stopped in his tracks, looking at the draenei in the dim light, "I don't worship anything, I respect my orders and I respect my superiors. I don't take my orders from some floating figure pretending to know how everything works and -" He was cut off by arriving at the end of the cave.

-Lurianosh looked nothing if not confused by the freshly dug grave, "What in the name of-" and with that she was cut off with a short gasp for air. Looking down there was five inches of blade protruding from her stomach.

-"You can keep your light and your fancy floating guy, I have my orders." James pulled his sword back letting the draenei fall partially into the grave, he hooves and her head did not fit. "Stupid kid didn't dig the grave large enough." He poured dirt over Lurianosh the best he could then moved the corpse of a spider on top of her.

-Stepping back out into the light of the full moon James took a stroll back to camp to come upon the Lordaeron Temple Knights on their knees, disarmed and at the mercy of the Stormwind High Command. "Kill them all." At that command every captive was killed and their bodies thrown into a nearby ditch.

-"Sergeant Longshot, burn the camp and move out, we aren't spending another day in the Plaguelands." As the elf by the name of Longshot left to follow his orders James just smiled and looked out towards the cave. "This is the beginning of the end of the Temple Knights, Stormwind is all the home we need."

((This inspiration for the characters are from two of my characters from retail, Lurianosh was a soldier who believed that the light would guide her actions and keep her and her kin alive, while James was the General in charge of all things "shady" in the Stormwind High Command, a rank earned from 2 years in that guild.))

Is there anything else you would like to add, ask, or otherwise clarify?:
I look forward to being able to roleplay without paying $15 per month so that a panda can run up in the middle of something and start singing "I'm a banana." I hope I am accepted and I can help contribute to the community.
