Well, there was no turning back now. He'd already paid the artisans in advance, and the relationship between noblemen and craftsmen was far too strained to make them jittery with words of 'cancellation' and 'payment not forthcoming'. So, it would be. Who knows, maybe a handful of the people provoked by it would actually have something interesting to put forward. He somehow doubted it, though, as he blew out the candle and waited for what would certainly (hopefully) be a deluge in the morning.
